GLB should love this as it would turn over flex points quicker as well.

Some teams gm's get a break in the off season but many work harder than the regular season trying to recruit. Anyways I think 4 or 5 day off season is a good little break but not so dragged out. Also liked the idea of shortening the preseason. Maybe instead of back to back games, do twice a days with 2 games played every other day for a 4 day preseason.

I'm a coordinator for several teams. I still think the off season is to long. I definitely understand wanting a "break" though.

the whole original reason for the extended offseason was to prepare for any sim changes.... the sim isnt changing so that break is kinda pointless now.

The extended preseason was for adjustments to sim changes which again, arent happening. The functionality behind a 16 day offseason/preseason is out the window with a stagnant sim. There is no longer anything to adjust to except new personnel.

There are still teams trying to recruit and players trying to get on teams. Not everyone logs in every single day of GLB. Not saying 16 full days is the answer but the 8 offseason days damn well should still be.

If the offseason was shorter those recruits would just sign sooner at best, change nothing at worst. The vast majority of the current FAs will still be FAs on day 0. Has nothing to do with going inactive.

The people still trying to find teams disagree with you.

Age based leagues suck for trying to find teams to sign you. You either start as a unit with someone from rookie to regional pro or you find yourself on a last second bought team that will end up with maybe 20 people.

There are some very good teams in the capped leagues that still have roster spots available. Most of the FAs still available have unrealistic expectations for their shitty dot or just like to see if they can fill the little green bar in the marketplace.

My dots have been on the market since day 30 of s37. I finally just signed with a new team that likely won't be filled for the season.
