There are plenty of natty pro spots each season. if those regpro owners weren't lazy fucks they would be in natty. It takes about 10seconds to pm support and get moved up. Op is pretty typical of the culture of entitled, irresponsible losers that modern society tends to breed.

you definitely need a double sort, some WL teams that demoted gutted, some pro teams denied WL bids and gutted. The only way you will avoid CPU team is to do a double sort based off of the amount of players on the roster, and even age/decline EL of some sorts.

if teams want to remain in pro and will provide a somewhat competitive game where the other team needs to maybe try a bit, then let them contact support.

Id rather play 8-8 teams than 8 CPU teams. Its just terrible when every other game is a blowout, sometimes 4 games in a row.

Rowdie's request to switch with my gutted team in Natty Pro got denied.

So much for competition where it counts.
I don't get why they over-think every single request.

Does it make the higher league more competitive?
If yes, approve.

pretty much this....it's not my fault if potential Pro teams left in Reg Pro want to avoid real competition by staying in Reg Pro. My team despite it's sub .500 record would make Nat Pro more competitive. If you are one of those teams hiding in Reg Pro. then...

In general, this idea makes great sense.

Its all selective. If you are certain people you can skirt the rules and get selective treatment.

hell, look at how many non playoff teams stayed in WL this season. They didnt even pick teams that werent in decline to stay. Its really pretty dumb

tbh I am more disappointed that other teams haven't now, or in the past, pursued promotion when passed over once. Agents work very hard to get to this level, and I doubt once they get here they want to play games against CPU and gutted teams. Even if my 6-10 Reg Pro team failed if promoted, it wouldn't be for lack of trying. I'll give it one more shot, and heck maybe I'll submit one ticket for each of the 6 or so teams that offered to swap, to better highlight the issue.

Fight on Rowdie. Rowdies would be a good addition to any pro league.

+1....I'd rather play a team that is full of human players and that while they may get beaten comfortably by my team, there is always the risk that they find a hole and pull the upset. With CPU or gutted teams, the only question is how much the stats will count after they are blowout adjusted.

Why don't we have one guy.. One mod.. And name him "Pro League Moderator" And just have someone who's not dumb pick the teams that move up to each pro league; Just give him a criteria like "Only playoff teams" or "Only teams that went 8-8 or better"

The problem is that while a hard fast rule like "only teams that win at least 8 games can promote" sounds like a great idea, every season and situation is different. If you want the best available teams to promote, then there will be seasons that a 6-10 team needs to promote due to other teams gutting/restarting.

There is no easy or perfect answer, but promoting ANY team that wants to promote is better than playing CPU teams IMO.

promotion system working as intended: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5316 team was 8-8 in Reg Pro this past season and got promoted to Pro...oh btw, the owner has been inactive since June 3rd and as a result his roster of dots is gone because contracts were never renewed.

That's what gets me.... it is like they don't look past the record. An empty roster and inactive owner SHOULD be a huge red flag.
