Over the past 2-3 season, i have seen this quite a few times. We have playoff teams in reg pro elite and competitive leagues, not getting promoted to pro like they should be. Can anybody tell me why this is? Well let me take a guess....

Scrub ass owners dont make the pro playoffs. They then proceed to pm support, and cry like little bitches so they get to stay in pro. And somehow support is giving them PRIORITY over these playoff regional pro teams.

Can anybody tell me why that is????
Because my understanding was, pro is similar to WL now in the sense that if you DONT make the playoffs, you DEMOTE! Imo, this needs to be enforced.

Apparently its not as clear as that, I had two teams not demote and I didnt PM anyone at all.

We were tied record wise with the teams that did make playoffs though, lost out on playoffs on tie breaker. Might have had something to do with it.

yea ive seen that happen too, which imo shouldnt happen either. But i know of two team owners who actually pm'd support (one was 6-10) just so they could stay in pro.

so you'd rather play a CPU team than a regpro elite team?

Titans were 8-8, missed the playoffs. I PM'd support requesting to stay. Not my fault GLB management can't get their shit right. As a team owner there is nothing wrong with trying to stay in the Pro's. Its up to GLB to make the right decision.

pretty much this...too many gutted teams kept in Pro. No offense to those this applies to, but in the fairness to competition at the Pro level, gutted teams should be moved out. If nothing else, at least bumped down to Reg Pro, somewhere like Comp #7 where they can still win gold with a CPU team.

Um... are u guys fucking retarded? First off, an 8-8 pro team SHOULDNT stay in pro.

no, id rather have a regional pro playoff team get promoted, rather than watch some 7-9 pro team go 7-9 again.

THIS right here is what im talking about, seems all these other guys missed my point. I dont think 9 and 10 seed should get to stay.

And glb would have made the right decision when u got demoted. Instead u cried to support like a little bitch, and got a spot in pro that a few other teams earned, and got screwed out of.

According to the FAQ page the bottom 6 get dropped.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/faq.pl?cat=League%20Structure%2FTeam%20Movement#76

How do promotion and demotion work in the Professional leagues? Link to this
National Pro - The top 4 teams from each National Pro League promote to WL. Remaining playoff teams and the next four highest seeded teams from each conference stay, while the bottom 12 teams (6 from each conference) demote. If you are one of the top 4 teams from a National Pro League you CAN NOT decline promotion to World League unless you are resetting the team. In the event a team is resetting and declining promotion the spot will be given to a team that was in the World League the previous season.

Regional Pro - Teams promote through the tiers (Normal --> Competitive --> Elite). Top teams (usually Regional Pro Elite) are pulled to fill the remaining spaces in Nat. Pro leagues.

Your the one that sounds like a little whiny bitch. I simply used the resources at hand and PM'd support with a request.

Fuck off

No, they wouldn't have demoted even without the PM to support evidently.

You can pm support and skip leagues all together, I saw a national minor skip to reg pro then win 3 games and go pro the next season
