But seriously, losing to a full CPU team is bad... that team does have a few human dots.... wonder if they're any good

...or I could click a couple more times and see that this "undefeated" human team went 5-11 last season in Competitive, thus demoting down to Normal for this season.

They may be good agents in WL, but that doesn't mean they're putting much effort into this team in particular.

Also, you could have very easily made the same point without telling me to "shut the fuck up" or calling me a "dumbass" or telling me to stop posting in the forums. Just thought I'd point that out.

Yes there are... usually teams that get sold mid-season. The human players release themselves, and the roster gets auto-filled with CPU dots.

Doesn't happen very often, but it does happen.

ok but as the rest of my post outlined your position on this makes no sense. If they are designed to compete at Elite level then they should never lose in competitive. If they aren't then you have no point.

So should CPU teams never win no matter how bad you play against them?

It is CPU vs. CPU regardless, no?

Not sure who the "you" is

I think you're mis-reading something. I never said CPU dots are designed to compete at Elite level.

The reason I'm posting in this thread is because people believe that "CPU team beats ANY human team" = "CPU dots must be overpowered." My argument is that CPU teams can beat TERRIBAD human teams, but nobody has ever shown me an example of a CPU team beating a DECENT human team.

If you can find me one such example, then I'll agree that CPU dots are overpowered. But nobody has ever done so before.

As for CPU teams beating BAD human teams, I'm just not worried about it. Don't want your feelings to get hurt because you lost to a CPU team? Then learn how to play better.

If it wasn't in Elite, then there's a very good chance the human team wasn't really as good as you think they were.

If a team's not in Elite, then that means they're either in Competitive or Normal.

If a team is in Competitive, it's because they couldn't make the playoffs in Elite. That either means they were a decent team that caught some bad breaks and finished #9 or something, or they're not actually a good team after all.

If a team is in Normal, it's because they couldn't even make the playoffs in COMPETITIVE. Sorry, but any truly good team should at least be able to make the playoffs in Competitive... and that's a pretty low hurdle to jump. If a team can't even do that, they're not good. Period.
