I haven't enjoyed glb for a while now but thus far I feel like if you put in a game plan you can dominate a team with offense or with defense and it reminds me of the old days where you can just blow a team that sucks out of the water. Anyone else feel this way

I think the hurries and how they effect the passing game needs to be toned down.

For the most part.

Throw short passes and let your QB hold guys in to block and you'll be fine.

If you start trying to chuck it downfield against a 6-man blitz with only your O-line to protect you, you'll end up on your ass a lot. Or throwing the ball into the first row of the stands a lot.

The point is, think more like an NFL team, and less like the gorram West Virginia Mountaineers. If you pass protect, get the ball out fast, and run the right plays (FWIW there's one passing play that's worked great for the last couple YEARS and still nobody uses it) with the right progressions, you'll do fine.

Granted, I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple tweaks to improve the passing game slightly, but the point is, it's a workable situation if you handle it right.

at Pros/WL yes, in those middle levels no. In University Elite where the team I own is the short passes are just as bad as the long passes for the most part. I know they tailor the sim for those lvl 79 builds but I wish they'd consider how unenjoyable those middle levels are when the offensive side of the sim is so FUBAR there.
