Originally posted by PenFifteen one would think that being further towards 100 Open Man on the slider would result in more bad throws. when you think about a qb throwing, route distance priority is more of a planned, timed throw. open man, if he's throwing to someone he just "found" a second ago, seems like there's less time for a QB to factor the receiver's velocity in where to throw the ball
less open man just results in your QB standing around with the ball.

why is a QB with double the conf pretty much have a way higher hurry:bad throw ratio?
August 9 - Increased power of confidence in avoiding bad passes
fwiw he gets frazzled pretty easily. His speed makes him avoid a sack but I assume his lack of confidence makes him tuck the ball quick under pressure as well.
Originally posted by Dr. Showtime that might change the number of hurries but how exactly did it change the qb thought process? specifically against a 3 or 4 man rush?
because the hurries are more regular and 3 man rush provides the most hurries since the NT gets blocked by 3 guys leaving the DE's solo. And there is plenty of coverage and no ! signal to quick throw.
