my thought was just to have all the o-line default to 'blocker' and all the WR's default to 'receiver'....then have the option to change if you want

+1 but I really don't see why they added tagging to these positions to begin with

I just came here to suggest this myself.

It would be nice to have a "Tag All Selected" option with a drop down menu of all relevant tags, and Boolean/check box next to each player (so you can select the ones you want), that way it could be opened up to all positions not just WR/Oline (some people may have very basic tags and just want to tag all HB's as rushers etc).

That would be sweet, adding it to the OP.

+1.

I'm okay with this, but have found it pretty useless; until GLB provides play specific O-Line adjustments.

Most teams don't carry three blocking TEs, so the GL formation was ripe for OOP TEs. Wasn't a big deal because they didn't do anything but block. With the addition of the two Big formations (I & Singleback), the OOP TE could be a WR or scat FB... and OOP isn't a big deal if the guy is wide open for a pass. http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=1869388&pbp_id=691663
