I didnt have it in me to retell my story about losing my fiancee while she was working in a day care center that day. And she is just 1 of the many. So you can go fuck yourself JD.

There are places on these forums to discuss events like 9/11. You knew that the World League forum wasn't one of them, and you already knew that we're already well aware that this is the anniversary of those attacks. There's no point in getting angry at me when you know that I'm correct. But if you are going to post in an inappropriate place, then at least give it some meaning. According to ABC News' website, no one from the WTC day care center was killed, so why don't you tell a story about her that none of us have heard? Did she stay behind to help others get out?

I have many emotions myself about that day and being fortunate to not lose my sister and cousin. Many acquaintances of mine lost their lives though.
Being born and raised in that area,it hits us a lot harder than it would for people who have no ties there or are just plain ignorant to human suffering.
My Mom passed last year and today would have been her 70th birthday so it makes this even a bit harder for me.

Peace be with you on this day every year and no... don't ever forget!

JD, you really are a piece of shit. Stick to dotball.

RIP to everybody we lost 10 years ago. So many different people and families were impacted by these events... Even the loved ones of fellow GLB WL'ers. We will never forget them.

This isn't the appropriate place, and we all already know what happened. Insulting me doesn't change the fact that I'm right.

Sometimes being right is wrong. Sometimes it is best to just be silent when you see a rules violation. Sometimes breaking the rules is justified. After all..this country was created when a group of brave men broke the rules.

With a little bit of wisdom you will learn this.

I dont have a WL team but let me post what i have written, I dont really care if Jd approve or not cause wel i just dont care: I have friends parents who were lost, I knew firefighters who went there to help others.

9/11 - Never Forget.
" The Brave Men and Women who went in and risked and lost there lives to save others from the tumbling towers. That on the day where the sun was shining in the sky and the leaves were blowing in the wind, the day would soon turn into a mass chaos where hundreds of innocent Americans would lose there lives in the hands of others actions, Our Brave Policemen and Women Firefighters and a stranger risked there lives to help others in need. We will never forget your courageous efforts to help our fellow americans. On that day we lost parts of our Family we lost Brave Men and Women who gave there all to help others in need, but as Americans we know that we have eachothers back and no matter how tough the situation may be we will rise up, we will show our colors, we wont let other nations bring us down. After the 9/11 attack our Nation became closer than anyone could of imagined! The lives of those who were lost are still with us and they are shining down on us with smiles as a country we picked up our feet, we brushed off our shoulders and we became ONE. We will never forget our fallen soldiers who have risked and are still risking there lives for us to live in a free country. We will never forget our Fallen Firefighters and Policemen and women who risked and lost there lives in the 9/11 attacks, we will never forget our Fallen fellow americans who risked there lives to save others. We will never forget the Brave Innocent Men/Women/Children who lost there lives on the planes that were hijacked by terriosts. On 9/11 our country lost many brave men and women and children but as a whole we gained one of the biggest Families in the world. A nation struck with grief may we rise up and show our colors with pride, let us raise up our flags and swing them in the air with heavy hearts, Let us not remember our lost brothers and sisters with saddness but let us remember our fallen brothers and sisters with happiness. Lets us come as one again as we did before but let us show our true Strength/Pride/Compassion for one another. No matter what color you are, we shall Rise Up and Show our Colors, Let our American Flag set high in the sky for all to see, let us show that we are still the greatest Country in the universe. Let Red/White and Blue be known to every man/woman/child of all race. Let them know that even if you lose one person or 3,000 people you gain trillions. We may have lost many people but we came together as ONE and through the grief/saddness and shock no matter how hard life has been our American Flag is still raised HIGH in the sky because as One we will suffer and conquer and come together and no matter how bad things get our heads will be up and we will keep moving forward."

So are you ok with threads in the WL forum for every natural or human-caused tragedy and their anniversaries?

When they strike a nation as a whole and their effects are felt world wide still 10 years later...easily.

Then we'll have one of these types of threads every week, since human history is unfortunately littered with such tragedies.
