I may fit that catagory

I think there are alot more issues with the game itself that needs working on before stuff like this. I don't ever see salary being tied to the Dots performance. maybe people should just stop bumping this thread and let it die in peace.

Morale and fame boost (buy house, car, personal trainer, jat, a nice expensive suit for the game)

you get your morale from your salary now but fame shouldn't be tied to salary

I didn't like the cash being useful for players before, and personally wouldn't like it if it were instilled again. It is just a tool to bring out greed in agents that only serve to hurt the team.

Such as before, it was used for equipment. Players would only sign if given money for equipment... sometimes not fully upgraded to that point....... after talking all that team money, they would walk and go to another team, which greatly benefited the team that they went to instead of the one that provided the equipment.

Also, they would ask for totally outrageous salaries and bonus's, or causing a bidding war between teams.

All it was good for before was to make it hard to provide for ALL on the team...... and it would serve the same purpose if used again.

I just don't understand the underlying obsession to have it back, if not for some kind of greed purpose.

TEAM FIRST.... not player first.

I like it how it is now. An agent making monetary demands lets us know right up front they are a noobish idiot. This is really helpful in this age of gifted/sold accounts.

-1 I don't think adding cash to the equation will add much to the game except more BS for owners to have to deal with.
