I think this could work, though it would be interesting how it would play out for pee wee players.... From the start of the season pee wee kickers typically kick between 45 and 50 yards, which is down around the 20-25 yard line; the typical return is between about 20 and 25 yards, which is right around the 40-45 yard line. Depending on how good the STC is, a good kick cover unit could keep returns around 15-20 yards; so a kick going out of bounds and coming out to the 40 might be worse for those teams. By having the -/+ distance/directional sliders this wouldn't guarantee a kick to the endzone or to the right/left it would just be what your kicker is trying to do, whether he does it or not would depend on how good his kicking and vision are; so a lot of kicks will typically go middle are between the middle and the direction he's kicking and some out of bounds. Maybe a slight boost to kicker distance would help make this more manageable, since most all NFL kickers can at least get it to the 1 or 5 yardline and the strongest kickers 5 or so deep into the endzone. I think you could allow an additional 5 or 10 yards of kick distance on pee wee players and then later in a kicker's career he would have to focus on more strength to allow him kicking deep into the endzone.
