GLB is trying to catch a problem but is also penalizing teams that make good use of a feature that GLB made available.

Since we have an "auto adjust" feature that lets us take advantage of the D's weaknesses, allowing plays to get called more often when they are successful, why then suddenly penalizes teams that adjusted quickly without giving them the ability to change the play call once the RPP has been reached? At the very least give us a check box that doesn't allow plays to be run once the RPP limit has been reached.

Ask yourself this. Why scout the opponent's D? You can't refine your attack now or you increase the occurrences of the RPP. Take running up the gut for example. If the opponents D has DTs 6 levels higher than your O line, but their DEs are the same level. Normally you just increase the odds of the runs off tackle or go completely with runs off tackle. Now you can't or the play will run an easy dozen times. Does the opponent leave the safeties in some spot that will allow a certain pass play to destroy them. Can't take advantage now without strengthening his entire D so much that nothing works.

God damn you people are freaking ridiculous with your QQ....seriously...look around the leagues at people running a play 10-15 times pretty damn successfully...play with fire too often and you might burn yourself once in awhile. If you really found a hole in someones defense...the hole isn't going to close because of the RPP.

I'm glad you have such a boner for the current playbook options because you're not getting any new ones anytime soon.

They have added new plays pretty much every 5 seasons. Maybe its time to actually look through the playbook.

Who cares about most of the teams. I care about the good ones, because when the close games come there wont be any big holes and a small advantage will cost the game.

Good point. And they've added new formations every, what, 20 seasons?

By the way, how many VAs just became useless? Can't run a HB at the same part of the D enough anymore to beat them up without incurring the RPP.

You have stated you think it wont be that big of a deal and that everyone will have to deal with it, but that isn't supporting, that's somewhat of a mitigation of it's implementation. Outside of the whole reason for a RPP, can you find one reason to support it's current incarnation? What I'd really like to hear, even from Support or Bort, is one sound and rational reason why the current implementation it is good for the game that can't be rebutted by three reasons why it's harming the game.
