I was hoping you would bless me with your wisdom. After all, you have managed to get exactly two dots over level 50 in your entire career (out of 65 retired dots) and someday you might actually have some Pro level dots.

The amazing thing is how you still manage to offer so much advice, even with zero record of success or even experience of GLB at high levels of play.

I suppose when you have failed to have success with your first 65 dots, then you at least know a lot about how to do things the wrong way. Although it is a little confusing that even after 65 consecutive failures, you are still spouting the same "helpful" build advice that you were clinging to 10 seasons ago.

You are truly exceptional in that regard. I look forward to your continued input on these forums.

Your mistake is thinking I care about this game, or what you say, or think. Why don't you go tell your world league friends to help you out with your level 66 D.E? I mean it's not like you need to be asking the "scrubs" of PT how to build right? I mean, you are, after all, a legend. When my level 44 D.E. is build better than your level 66 D.E., I would tend to think all your dots are as bad as your level 66 D.E.

Your mistkae is trying not to care out loud... it doesn't work, and now we all know you're butthurt.
Sure, keep telling yourself that the only reason you don't play in WL is because you don't WANT to.

Yeah, I'll buy what your selling here for the most part. But have you seen some of the builds out there on the marketplace? I'm not trying to pretend I am an elite dot builder by any means, but I see guys who have been playing the game for years that don't really seem to grasp the concept of slowbuilding or ALG's at all. New players need help in a game like this otherwise they quit after figuring out that their dot sucks 6 months and 50$ later.

~50% of the rate my player threads go unanswered. Your lucky to have 2 or 3 guys comment on any thread in most of the position talk forums. I can't fault someone for doing their best to help someone else get better at this game, as long as their intentions are in the right place. I think we need more of the top players in the game reaching out to help the noobs. It seems like information is something to be horded rather than shared on this game.

tldr
Hulk is right check to see who the person is giving you advice.
More good players should be giving advice IMHO.

Best thing you can do as a player is not seek advice, but use trial and error.
You won't really know what works or doesn't before you actually see it happen for your own player.

Even better, owning a team or being a relevant coordinator will give you lots of insight because you will know exactly how your player can and will be used.
When I say "relevant coordinator", I mean that being a DC won't help you understand WRs as much as being an OC will

+1. Coordinating allows you the unique opportunity to both see open builds and the settings they are playing on without having to actually build the dots.

nice job losing. That is all. We are a farm team as well joker, and if you weren't such a noob you'd make your farm team start at level 4.

I think you only end up a level or two more ahead of teams that start at level 1. The experience gains in the first three levels catch you up extremely fast.

that first statement is exactly why Hulk posted his cautionary tale. Random people who don't give a damn and talking out their ass. They think they have a clue but really don't. And sometimes even vets will discuss different things and see what others are seeing with the changes that are occurring.
