I have no idea on your last question. I'd have to look at past numbers. I do know that it will be harder to sell at maximum prices though.

If it helps, the Pro team has 100/100/100 Fan Support and had sales of $2.2-$1.7 million per game last season. Hopefully Bort would announce a specific % drop in concession revenue if it was something as drastic as a 60%+ discount.

No - that's part of the game's strategy.

99% of GLB teams have currently used Max Pricing because of 15 seasons of data. Given that the entire financial system has changed where a team can severely cripple itself financially and competitively based on expected revenue, I would think some level of guidance could be provided. Even if it is just information on expected reduction in revenue from concessions.

especially since the concessions thing wasn't part of any announcement anywhere that I saw

What about media money and promotional bonuses in the AAA and above leagues? Still exist or no?

Correction on the earlier response I gave as I was answering the promotional bonuses part (didn't see that media money was snuck in there):

Teams will still receive media revenue (at a reduced rate from what it was in past seasons). Teams will no longer receive promotional bonuses unless they jump up three league levels.

Wanted to correct this statement - turns out they don't work in ANY scrimmages including pre-season games. My apologies for the incorrect information.

wow I must say I am very disappointed in this...how are we supposed to prepare for what the actual sim will be like before the season starts? Tournament games are going to be different than the sim is supposed to be played and we have to PAY for those scrimmages. Again, how do we prepare for the regular season especially when AA teams are having games that are all 255-0 and are scheduling scrimmages to get an idea and those games wont even run like the actual games. This needs to be fixed asap imo.

I said this in the PF, but it bears repeating here for those who don't have access to it:

Ouch... with 15 seasons of concessions data completely thrown out the window, that means we'll be adjusting concessions after each home game much in the way we will be adjusting ticket prices. Unfortunately we only have 7 chances to adjust it correctly... whereas with ticket sales we have 38ish days to adjust ticket prices to find the correct price.

Frustrating that at least no guideline whatsoever (or any official announcement) was provided... I feel sorry for those who never see this thread or those who don't wade through the 12 pages of the S16 Game Changes discussion thread. They'll be using the data of 15 past seasons... which is now entirely useless.

As for me... I'll be mirroring the concession prices of my hometown NCAA team's concessions for the first home game... It's the only baseline I have.

It works in pre-season games - those aren't scrimmages.

Catch you know how ridiculous this is?

pre-season games are the period in time where teams adjust to the new SIM and you and Bort make changes based on the results of the SIM and user feedback.

To not include such a huge element like morale bonuses into the pre-season games and user scrimmages makes them a complete waste of time because any data collected during these games will not represent the actual SIM data.

You guys should seriously consider adding the elements to the pre-season games so you can get a proper read on how the games will play out.

Also you guys just reverted the morale code back to last season's level...how do you know if that needed to be done or not since the +morale bonuses were never factored in?

so do we get the #s of what the "reduced" rates are for media revenue since we were privileged to this info in past seasons?
that way we actually have some idea of what we may be working with in season money - makes a big difference when choosing season promotions and knowing if we will be able to afford any single game promotions

also will it only be AA teams and up that are receiving media revenue as in the past or will it be available to all league levels?

thanks

On the salary morale effects it says max contract gives +10% morale reserve bonus. Does that mean +10 (like 10% of 100?). Also if that's the case then would it be +10.8 if you have a +8 morale bonus for home games for example.

So can one assume that morale actually rises and drops by tenths (0.1), but only displays by whole numbers?

If this isn't the case, is there any benefit to giving a player a morale increase of 4 compared to 4.5?

It's 40% less than in the past, so: (if my math is correct)

AA
Total: $8,100,000
Lump: $2,025,000
Per Game: $379,687.50

AAA
Total: $10,800,000
Lump: $2,700,000
Per Game: $506,250

Pro/WL
Total: $15,000,000
Lump: $3,750,000
Per Game: $703,125
