Even give more RT, 25 isn't enough. So what do I do now, spend the off-season normal training for shopping tokens?? There should be a better arrangement to assist the agents effected, especially for a first time change like this one.


You had the option to automatically switch your % EQ into another % or a related SA at no cost to you. You chose the gambler's route.

Pummel is for all plays. Lead Block will work for a TE when they are doing something that constitutes a Lead Block (like when they pull and go upfield).

There were multiple options. Again, you could have exchanged the equipment for something similar to what your current one did, and get something SIMILAR. If you wanted to IMPROVE your EQ, there was a second option, which was not guaranteed to give you better EQ but did give you a good number of chances to try. You chose to try to improve, despite there being another safe option.

this is my frst post, but i wanted to make a suggestion if i may,

for those of us who don't really browse the forums & are mainly interested in the game side, we access our players pages, i'm a little concerned about some information that i don't seem to be able to access after the archtype is selected.

for instance

HB Scat Back
Major Agility Carrying Catching Speed
Minor Confidence Jumping Stamina Vision
Bonus SA's - Quick Cut, First Step
Penalty SA's - Lower Shoulder, Power Thru

some of this information i'd find usefull for when i level up & i won't remember which SA's have a penalty to them, i'd like to be able to view this information again from my player page rather than try to find the thread where this is posted, would that be possible?,

I've noticed that also. An archetype button that gives a summary for reference would be nice.

what you want to do is click that link on your page that says wiki
then go scroll down about half a page to where it says player builds or something and then there is a link for archetypes
has all that info
the wiki basically has ALL the info you could ever want
on top of that, once you choose an archetype on that players page the bonus and penalty SAs are highlighted different colors
so you dont have to remember
AND......... you probably want to memorize the majors and minors for your players so you dont have to reference that chart all the time
sort of like a lot of people know what intense training combos there are without checking the wiki every day (but that info is on the wiki)

and now, to ask this question for what seems like the 10th time in this and other forums

Are we getting 2 TE sets any time soon?
last season we were promised them, and i started messing around with an offense that used a TE at WR in order to get some practice working with 2 TE and now i still have 4 TE but we dont have any 2 TE sets

seriously, i don't see what the issue is with making a single back big formation and making an i big formation

Well...OK. The way things were explained however, didn't lead me to believe I was taking a chance, or gambling. The way it reads makes it sound like the 3 choices being made available are all viable options of equal worth, and it would be up to the agents discretion to choose which they prefer. I know for myself I was just trying to support the changes as it sounded like GLB was trying to get away for % EQ. Which is one reason I was scratching my head when I selecting another % EQ was an option to swap for. Just a lil convoluted if you ask me. But now I know. Don't sel l!The likelihood of getting screwed is pretty high.

i simply disagree with you
i got great pieces of equipment for my trade ins
i also too the gamble and it payed off
i feel like it was explained to clearly be a gamble
you get extra shopping tokens, thats all
and if you buy things from the shop you spend some of them as well to use them up faster
you dont go to some special pro shop or some special position shop
its the same shop
you already know what buying things from that shop is like
you simply didn't take the time to consider what you were doing before doing it
the explanation was perfectly clear not only to me, but in the forums on my team most of my agents have been discussing the different options and none of them has ever expressed confusion about how this works

what i have found though, is that sometimes i have to read the announcements twice to make sure i get everything out of them
sometimes as players we read the first part of the announcement, get excited about what it says, and skim the rest without really paying attention so we can go back and play with the first change ASAP
are you sure this isnt what happened to you?
you might have read the announcement about the whole thing and said to yourself "25 shopping tokens!!! thats like a wonderful bounty that will last me forever!!!"
and then didn't read the rest of the announcement about how you lose 5 if you buy a piece or about how its THE EXACT SAME SHOP

but seriously, this is a concern for you, not for the forums
its a personal problem, you screwed yourself over, the rest of us who actually read the rules dont need to listen to your whining

I have a DE with Super Vision as a AEQ ability.
If I select an archetype and choose Super Vision as the ability - What happens, just that I can pound more points into it? But it would follow the 1-1-2-2-3 points cost?
