I agree completely. I just hope they get it right this time.

Rushing qb's are completely useless ATM, so I think that is a positive thing.

Having QB's with zero passing ability is always retarded no matter how many ways you slice it.

So I'm a little confused. One quote says that if you made your player already you miss out on the option...then a couple quotes below that it says they can then choose the option (one time only of course). Will this not make a difference for those players already made, as they can just do it now and have it take place retroactively? or are they just missing out?

Why is there no balance like this, though?

If its too tough to get QB's 4, then make everyone have 2 Majors and 4 Minors. Why have the same number of Majors as Minors in the first place?

That's not going to happen - there will be archetypes you can select that have different ALG's though. For example, here is what we have for TE's right now:

TE Receiver
Major Speed Agility Catching Vision (+.5)
Minor Strength Jumping Carrying Stamina (+.25)
Bonus SA's - Route Run, Quick Cut
Penalty SA's - Get Low, Pancake

so wat's the bonus and penalty SA's about? just the effectiveness of those SA's are decreased or is there some kind of a cap on how many SP's you can put into them?

I'm pretty sure QBs will be getting 4 Majors/ 4 Minors too. I think the only positions getting 3 and 3 are K/P.

Well whatever the details are, I already think it's a great idea and long overdue.

100% agree with this. I hate rushing QBs almost as much as I hate SSB.

I hope that we learned our lesson about giving different positions a different number of majors/minors. Whatever the decision, every position should get the same number of majors (probably 3, varied by archetype) and the same number of minors (probably 4, again varied by archetype).

This is a pretty exciting change.
