I tried the both combo and elusive and I really haven't even noticed the difference. I'm going to experiment and use power first couple of games next season and see what happens.

isn't strength for power backs?

Strength is also very important to break tackles from the CB's/S's. I've got a guy with tons of agility and speed and good vision, but he gets tackled for a 3 yard gain by the CBs on outside runs because he has 23 strength and can't break a tackle to save his life.

Not exactly, but at this point maybe so. Ideally I want to be juking the hell out of guys and just making them look foolish, but in reality, its just not happening yet. So in the meantime, I'll buff up my strength and get done what I can.

Also those two backs were both on my team splitting carries. =)

The problem I have now is that we dealt a WR that wanted on another team for another good HB(more of a power back) and I have to find a way to get PT for all three =(

I'm thinking of moving Bo or Aaron to WR. =)

Anyone ever done this?

I had the same experience. So, I started pumping up stength & put a few points into the Power Back Abilities tree. I have just started this process of balancing out my HB but I do notice that he can now break tackles from CBs. LBs ... not yet!

looks like your both learning elusive backs aren't effective early on and just want to be more of a balanced or power back

you get an out of position penalty so your player wont do as well at wr as he would at rb.

here's mine since people are showing builds. Im going to work mainly on agility. maybe throw some into stamina, jump and carry

I know there is no set in stone build, but how close do you guys think agility and vision should be in relation to your speed? I have heard to keep agility within 5 and vision around 10, does that sound smart.

I'm going to add a lot of ag. this year and see what happens.
I have 5 Juke and it hasn't been doing much so I'll be adding 2/3 of my 5SP every lvl. to it.

from what ive heard, if your agility is 50+ you are way better off sticking with juke but if its less than 50, head fake will be a lot more effective

speed, agility and vision to me are the first three. stamina and carry are next. quick cut, first step and juke are the top on the SA's however you also have to boost head fake as well. Thats my take.
