Warrior General Games

Looks like we've cleared out most of our CPU teams (although one was sold right back to Uncle Bort after the temporary owner renamed it the Kiskunfelegyhaza Gravediggers...wtf)

We have added two new teams that are sporting awesome "Z"s instead of an "S." Congrats to both the Woland Gangstaz and the Los Angeles Ice Chillz for being so creative in the naming process.

League Breakdown

West
Last season's champion, the Woland Begemots, has been sold - apparently to pay off a gambling debt. I assume this because the team name has changed to the "Gangstaz." As I indicated previously, having a "Z" in your name is fuckin cool as hell. I am currently trying to decide whether to rename my own team "Wagnerz Meat" or "Wagner Meatz."If anyone has any suggestions, please, flood my inbox. If the Gangstaz are able to pick up any players at all, I still predict season 10 failure for them. Prediction: 4-12

Mississississippi Mud Dogz 15-1 last season. One of season 9's most exciting ground games looks to be back on track. Both QBs look ready to run the rock and I'd be surprised to find out that Ace and Jag aren't modeled directly after Tommy Excel and Made in California. Watch out for these guys. Prediction: 15-1

Wagnerz Meatz - 14-2 last season, conference championship loser. Until these guys start boosting, they are never going to be competitive. Prediction: 10-6

Wezt Virginia Mountain MENz - 12-4 in season 9, their roster is looking a little thin this season. Plenty of running backs, not much backup on the defensive side of the ball. I have faith they'll get it together and fill that roster out before whenever it is that games start. They've added Eric M Vos as a defensive coordinator, so look for their historically good defense to continue. Prediction: 11-5

Phoenix Ducks - 12-4 in season 9, lost championship game to the Pee Wee Destroyers. Very solid team. I hate them. Prediction: 14-2

Philly Pitbullz - Boats n Hoes are dead and gone. All that's left is half a roster from Philly. Looking better than the Gangstazz at this point, so I'll rank them a little higher. Prediction 5-11

Hamilton Tiger-Catz - 9-7, first round exit on the playoffs. Full roster - with 1, 2, 3! QBs. Team looks improved from season 9. Prediction: 10-6

Bridgeport Money Makerz - 8-8 in season 9. After an incredibly slow start, the Money Makerz came on strong in the second half to finish up with a playoff berth. In season 10, their roster is incredibly shallow at this point - 30 players. They can make a go of it, but will need to add some guys in order to be competitive. Prediction: 8-8 (lower if they don't get some more dudes on that roster)

The rest of the league has teeny tiny rosters and will need to make vast improvements in order to compete in season 10. Sucks that CPU teams were given out so late.

Looking at this now, it's ridiculous to think that any of the top 5 teams will lose any more than 4 games. Go ahead and mentally switch everything around so that I don't have to go back and edit this thing. There will end up being at least 5 CPU teams by the end of the season I am betting

East

Just going to do the guys that look like they have a solid chance of not being run over.

The regular season champions (16-0) have renamed themselves the Teneroc Titans. Will it bring them better luck in the playoffs? Looks like they've beefed up their special teams unit a bit. This will be one of the few teams in the East to make any noise. Prediction: 15-1

Pee Wee Destroyers - Season 9 Pee Wee League #22 Champions. They've abandoned the WR as an option in the passing game in season 10. Looks to be another strong team. Prediction: 15-1

TD Corporation - 12-4 in season 9. Roster looks stronger than ever, but I don't see them winning against either the Destroyers or Booze Hounds this season. Prediction: 14-2

McFarlane Pee Wee Defenders. WTF? The Buckwheats are Scottish? I am going to downgrade their ranking for no reason whatsoever. I have nothing against the Scottish, but I really dug the Buckwheats. These were the upset kings last season - will they do so again? Going to need some more players if they want to compete for a title. Prediction: 12-4

South Texas Razorbacks - 9-7 in season 9. No one is looking forward to the start of the season more than these guys - THEY ALL GET TO BOOST ON THAT DAY. I will assume they learned their lesson last year and hope that they get some better game plans put together. They're still a playoff team this season, but we're likely to see a CPU playoff team, so... ya know. Prediction: 11-5 if they don't boost immediately, 8-8 if they get retarded again

Zanesville Brass Monkeys - 9-7 in season 9. Looking stronger in season 10. I liked these guys last season, liking them more this season. Prediction: 12-4

Little Peddlers - 0-16 against the spread last season. Fuck you guys, I won't be looking forward to picking your games this season. Roster's looking thin - better pick up some more talent. Prediction: 10-6

Buffalo Renegades - The former Bedroom Dominators look to be building up - would not be surprised to see them as a playoff team this year. Prediction: 9-7

Well with the very short time i have to sign people. (yes i only had this team for two day :\ ) I hope to make at least some sort of challenge by the time the season starts

take a look at philly pitbulls now. been doing a shit load of recruiting today. i think we aregoing to be better then 5-11 now! lol

Dont be discouraged. I was in your situation last season and was reading the preseason predictions and it got me mad a lilttle also. But hell we went 16-0 without any day 31 built players. I wish all the luck i can though cause recruiting now is off the chain crazy.

Nice write up Saint! Looking forward to a Mud Dogs/Wagner's Meat rematch as we went 1-1 against you guys last season (you won the more important one ). Like Booth said, it's hard to rate new teams as my squad was left off the rankings entirely last year because we were brand new and ended up going 15-1. You just never know what the new breed will bring. I'm just glad I don't have to play the Razorbacks again in Week 1 who had the entire team boosted.... we still won
