You imply that you are special because you are an "alpha tester". Every time someone tries to hold you guys accountable, you guys reply (and I have seen you leading the charge sam in many posts) that everyone else is just "jealous". You are soooo much better than everyone else.... You know what - you're an alpha tester - act like one should! Condemn the team gutting practices going on. This is complete crap that any of you sit back and allow it to go on. It is really pathetic. It is deterimental to the integrity of the league. Does it make you feel good to beat terrible CPU filled teams 100-0? Do you get some kind of kick out of that?

I own Flathead Just Go Krazy in the WEST.

You see, Sam... I really care about the league and I care about my team. (and I am not implying that you do not). I care so much that I have spent tons of my waking hours scouring the trading block, sending contract after contract to FAs who reject my offers and then think it's funny to send me a "personal rejection" via PM that goes something like "77-0!!!! BWAHAHAHAHAAAAAA!!!! I'll never sign with you!!!!!"

I care about the integrity of the league, Sam. It *BOTHERS* me that I work so hard to rebuild a team from the ashes (and I still have a long way to go) and then another owner who has a much better team than I do decides to give away all of his players or trade them away to some other team because they are struggling to win in USA Pro. We can't all win the league every year! - But they just give up and throw in the towel - and the league gets worse.

I care about my players that I have made promises to that I am going to build our team up and get it competitive and I am not going to stop working hard to accomplish that goal - even though I am staring relegation down a league in the face because I happen to play in the West. I don't care if they move us down - we are still going to keep building and we will get the players necessary to compete.

You see, Sam, I care about the league and I care that it doesn't lose its integrity. I wish all the owners in USA Pro cared as much as some of us do because the league is running near empty in the credibility department...

Maybe they could promote a couple extra teams to USA Pro this offseason, and relegate a few more, so that we can get rid of this driftwood. I'm sure teams would line up to be considered for a special promotion all the way to the top.

why would I be I am in the West. Competition is better then no competition.

In this league it's better off to just build your team with your own players which is what I'm doing with my team, with a little help from shark and a few loyal players. Thing is in this league players just want to bounce around and bounce around to keep things fresh and going to a rebuilding team is too much of a hassle. Thing is if you want it done right you have to do it yourself.

I feel a communication gap here.

Look through my post history, Sam. You won't find posts trying to make the alpha testers look bad. In fact, I believe this is the first thread I have ever commented on regarding an alpha tester.

My goal is not to make you look bad. My goal is to get *YOU* personally and then every other mod and every other alpha tester and then every owner and player in USA PRO to accept a higher level of responsibility and to set an example for the rest of GLB. Gutting is not an accepted practice!

Your not really setting a great example for GLB either buddy. Alpha testers have nothin to do with this 'team gutting'. The Admin is responsible to answer you about this matter. I am an Alpha Tester too, and personally i dont care if a team was gutted nor do i care to respond to any questions about that matter cuz ITS NOT MY JOB. Maybe the people who have gutted teams just dont wanna GM the team anymore, for all you know. Its not your business to know, its the guy who owns the team's business.

Someone will buy the team soon, and rebuild it. I mean, there's a waiting list for people to buy a team. There's no reason why someone should be jealous of Alpha Testers. We pay to boost players, we pay for custom equipment, we pay for additional players, ect ect. I think Bolster says non Alpha Testers are jealous just for fun and to talk trash. Some of you guys jus need to chill, and if you got a problem with team gutting go PM an admin or mod, leave the regular alpha testers alone. That's it.

Every time the mods or another owner in USA Pro posts like you did saying, "it's not our problem, let it go... I'm sure someone else will buy the team", you're just turning a blind eye to the problem and the integrity and credibility of the league continue to decline. Why not take a stand for how things SHOULD be run and insist that the league you participate in upholds its honor and reputation?

So basically what everyone is saying, is that if someone no longer wants to play in USA pro with their players, we should make them do it anyways?
