That's because most of the average player base knows it's just testing bugs. I'm not even sure why most the testers are still helping. There's nothing to gain from it and you just get bashed by everyone who disagrees with you even if you try to talk to them rationally. Hell, I haven't done anything on the test server since the close to the beginning of Feb.

It wasn't an attack...I actually quite like the colored dots.

It is information from the test server though, I do apologize for not adding to the bickering though.

Your time in this thread would be better used spreading your knowledge from the test server than fighting the losing battle that is trying to convince the populace that there is information out there we're not party to unless we ask.

I've seen testers say they'll be happy to disclose if asked.

Well we're all asking. Convieniently too, I might add. In one thread, to save you from numerous posts and retyping.

The problem is now, no ones telling.

They're too busy speaking in riddles.

Koncorde says that he gives information out all the time.

Yet Voltron says that it's nothing more than testing bugs.

3) Not a wall of text either but something readable without getting a headache.

4) No links that lead to pretty much nothing without knowing what the purpose was.

5) Documentation would include WHY that particular thing was being tested.


Just a few things off the top of my head that would go A LONG WAY to helping you Mods in policing the forums.

testing bugs...testing builds...pretty much comes hand in hand to be honest.

Edit: Not that I dont agree they are testing for bugs...but things are learned along the way. Its just natural.

I would never bash a tester. If Offered I would have accepted in a heart beat as well, and not for personal gains, but would be willing to help GLB in anyway I can to improve the product, BUT with that would come some advantages, how large or small I have no idea. My biggest gripe is the Defensive play creator, thats the biggest advantage IMO.

Just maybe, you are being too vague in your question?

Or did you expect them to write out a diatribe of GLB that would take a good 4 hours?

Ask them specific questions that you want to know, and you will probably get your answer.

F8, if you read in the other thread I believe, Koncorde mentioned something about a notes part being added to the game, that they have to fill out in what was being tested in that game itself etc.

the idea of the thread is a good one, but the way it was framed - "tell us or we'll assume you're a cheater!" - is off-putting and unlikely to make anyone want to disclose anything.



What's the difference how it comes off?

The testers constantly say that they're willing to help, but for some reason they don't.

Here is a very specific thread, requesting their help. Now we can see if they are true to their word.

I've gotten plenty of help from testers myself.

if they're passing out any info at all, it should be made public for everyone to see.

I just asked and none of the info I got or asked about was in any great detail. Simple clarifications of things I saw in the post bort made.

If you want to know the help I got, in interest of full discloser it had to do with pulling guards. Basically no speed.agiltiy combination is enough for guards (RG in particular) to pull out in front of the HB to the weakside...

Specific info given out to the public, by a tester. Except that it wasn't to the public, it was to one specific person.
