Also, their should be a little check box that I can click when I select the SS to man cover the TE. the check box should say: Click to line the SS (or other player) automatically over the selected player to cover. That way if I assign the SS to cover the TE, or a LB to double team a WR, I have the option of them lining up automatically to cover the player. or after the snap, move and follow the play from their pre-made or custom dragged position.

How about the ability to copy and paste a play, making it a whole lot quicker to make different blitz/coverage assignments from the same formation.

The dots are limited to where you can drag and drop them, making it impossible to create formations like the 46 (where the OLBs are both positioned outside the RDE). Meanwhile, other formations like the 5-2, 4-4, 6-1, etc, where you have an extra type of player on the field is not catered for.

So, suggestion....

1. Having total freedom to move dots anywhere on the grid.
2. Having the ability to add or remove types of players from the grid.

Note on #1....
Worries about "cheesing" or seeing "crazy" tactics shouldnt prohibit that freedom because they are all legitimate formations or tactical abilities. Offenses would just have to work out ways to beat them. Especially as the Offensive playmaker will come in the following season, then the idea should be to make them both free. Otherwise it's pointless having a playmaker if you're constrained in the end to it just being a faux playmaker, everything still a 4-3, 3-4, or nickel/dime.

Examples of legitimate formations in #2....
Creating a 317 which entails 2 SS's and 1 FS on the field.
Creating a 047 which entails no DTs/DEs, just 4 LBs and 7 DBs.
Creating a 5-2 which entails 3 DTs and 2 DEs.
Etc.

If you're referring to my post? Then the idea is just that. That DCs have the freedom to create actual formations themselves, placing how many players from certain positions they want etc. Thing to remember is, no need to restrict this as real football has all those odd formations already lke 0-4-7, and 5-3-3, etc.

And, similarly, you can place your players wherever on the grid you want. Eg: You could replace the MLB with another SS and put all three Safeties deep in cover 3. Or you could leave the MLB there and put him deep in cover 3 with the other two safeties. Or you could move your LOLB all the way over outside the RDE if you want. Etc.

Allowing this.....1) makes it immensely fun, 2) is more true to life creating formations, 3) will see a new GLB phenomenon like we saw in the NFL/College, where coaches invent and create new systems and teams find ways to beat them. Etc.

yeah, i made a suggestion for that too and i know of a few others. I'm talkin about all of them, cause i think the D play creator will be lacking something that it absolutely should have if this isnt implemented.
