This season we've improved and will finish the season 15-1 in possession of first place.

I don't think turnaround means what you think it means.

Hey guys, I'm the DC.

When I came on, Serenity was a GM, a guy named xian was a GM, FatMurhpy was a GM, and I believe that was it. Believe it or not, Smizzy has brought 90% of the players on the team in. He did not inherit a staff with Serenity, Laggo, Voltron, SteelCity and etc.

Honestly, he's as good an owner you'll find in the entire game. He completely delegates setting tactics (the OC/DC jobs) and just brings in talented player after talented player. I remember at the beginning of the year, I was thinking JetNation had a chance to be pretty good once we started getting our Chemistry up and etc. I was thinking, "Damn, this team is going to go from one of the worst teams in the league to a 4 or 5 seed in just a year!"

Smizzy sends me a PM, "New Defensive Players for you!" and there are like 3 guys that are level 27+ and absolutely fantastic defensive players. Later, LionsFaninCali brought over some more of his guys. Suddenly, I'm looking at a team smizzy built that's going to go from cellar to a 1 or 2 seed in a matter of 2 seasons.

And credit also to all the players and Agents on this team who signed huge extensions and long-term deals when the team was 4-12. To LionsfaninCali, who brought us to the next level with 4 incredibly good players he added to our roster. To FatMurhpy, who before being deployed to Guam, did a great deal for the team.

Voltron, SteelCity, Laggo, and TuNice are all guys that we're incredibly glad to have with us, and who I'm excited to be on a team with. But make no mistake, its Smizzy and the guys listed in the paragraph before this that turned around a gutted team in a USA league--not the new staff additions made this year (myself included in those "new additions).

I think this shows that, if you've got an owner who can stick with it, its possible to turn around a gutted team. Is it ridiculously hard? Yep. Is it possibly too hard for the game system to work? Maybe. But, it can be done. And this shows smizzy is probably one of the best owners in the game.

For the record, I'm going to let this go and not lock it because it's relevent to today's hot topic. That's not a license to post a bunch of "My team is great" threads.

I wonder exactly what Vanilla thought this thread was going to be? How is it relevant to anything other than "my team is great"?

Congrats guys. It sounds like you put a hefty recruiting effort in and it paid off. Good luck in the Playoffs.

Took a team from 2-14 and 13th place in season two, to 13-3 and 2nd place in season 3. Does that qualify?

What the heck is your problem? Can't turn things around on your Cartel team so you try to diminish our grit and determination?

He sure did. Great job by the whole team.

Those free Flex Points he gave away in that contest was a great attention grabber also.
