We are super thin at linebacker and I was thinking of playing my fs as a backup middle linebacker any thoughts on this?

high speed/vision DEs and high strength SSs are better bets, unless your FS has higher strength than your SS.

MLB's need strength don't they? My FS is eventually going to be a hard hitter and he still doesn't have very high strength yet.

Yeah I think a FS would be too weak and not have a good enough tackling rating to play MLB.

we actually put my lvl 15 fs (pitty party) at rolb for first 5 games of season ,set to wrap up tackle (we were very thin at lb ) he worked out very well.

I have started a SS at ROLB for a 1 1/2 seasons. The way rushing works in GLB, it just makes more sense.

my corner has played LOLB, ROLB, FS, SS, and all three corner positions. and he did pretty much shutdown in all of them only letting up like 2 catches a game on average
