So... ya wanna be a coach? There's plenty of info out there, and people willing to help you get it sorted out... but now you have some Packages and an AI... all ya gotta do is convince some poor shmuck team to allow you to lose games while you get your feet wet. Yeah... I'm not seeing the good here.
My suggestion? Simple. As dot builders we're allowed to build whatever we want... experiment if we like. Some teams might like our dots... or wanna see what happens... but even if NO (owned) team wants our dots, we can always play on CPU teams. Why not coach them too? Seriously. Just apply for the job like you would for finding a home for your dot. CPU teams could then offer you a job as their OC/DC/St coach and you could work at your game without causing suffering to the poor dot builders and team owners that can't wait until you get "good enough". Hell... might even make CPU teams competitive!
CAVEAT; To apply for these CPU coaching jobs, you cannot be a Coach already on an Owned team or another CPU team. That would keep people from sneakily abusing the system.
I know I would've done this if it was available when I started out trying to be a DC and later an OC. Sure would've saved some heartache for those teams I lost all those games for.
