Re-read my post, did I say that you rigged the poll for certain? No. It simply lacks transparency, which then provides the room and "possability" of rigging results. What ever happened, we will never know.
If for instance Pwned made the poll, the results would have been more trustworthy since he did not have a bias going into the voting.

And why do I talk about this? In 100+ seasons no one talked about the WL structure being the problem. I've been here "thank God" for all seasons before the reset. The real problem were the number of pro leagues and CPU teams being part of those. Leading to even CPU teams making POs. Never the POs, never the WL. Never ever have I heard an WL team owner with a no 1 seed bitch about not having a bye.

Sigh...

1. I've been playing this dotball browser rpg on and off for 17 years just like you. In that time you won't find a single agent who's had a bad experience of me lying or cheating a single time. But you're gonna pretend I'm so bias that this has been a 17 year cover-up for me to rig an unofficial dotball poll using google forms?

2. I made live results public, so if anyone gave a shit they could view the results before and after they voted, and see the change was appropriate.

3. 50% of people voted to keep WL as-is (12 team) while 50% voted for a 24 team top-tier. If I was going to rig a poll, I must be really shitty at rigging things...

4. WL structure not being optimal has been discussed many times in the past 100 seasons, whether you noticed it or not. RC is the one mostly recently bringing the idea of no 12tm WL even tho he's beating everyone up there. Your opinion does not represent everyone's opinion, as this poll proved.

5. Final question wasn't specific to WL. Stop being a dick to people just because they aren't historically WL team owners.

6. Here's your precious "transparent" voting results by agent, you big weirdo: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1J871zTZWt6PnAQzIgQSAochanPjt475IJx8Ahju3lzs/edit?usp=sharing

First time in literal RL years since I've been excited with GLB games. This is going to be a blast, I think I'll watch every playoff game, just because I'm dotball parched.
Everyone has their own attraction in this game; Building players and WL-type playoffs is mine...let the games begin!

Thank you wise, much cleared now and apologies.

And yes, weirdo indeed since this is my current profession, modeling, analyzing and programming stuff around data.

GL to all teams for the POs, peace out!

So... last thoughts on "fixing" the leagues? For one thing I think too many are not understanding the difference between REAL football leagues and GLB leagues. For one, GLB is much more aligned with how Soccer leagues run than how the NFL runs (or college or highschool). Here we move up... we move down. In RL we don't. In Soccer they do and it'd be smart to adapt that style of 'team movement' for here.

Premiere Leagues = 2 leagues... 8 teams in each league. Bottom 4 teams get relegated... replaced by....

1st Division = 2 Leagues mimimum. Could be expanded if needed. Top 8 teams, including Champions and runner ups, replace those above. You can use records or EL's or whatever else you want to determine who moves up and who stays down. As for the bottom teams it depends on number of leagues. If only 2 then lowest 8 would move down. If 4 then lowest 8-16 would move down depending on how many leagues were below that.

All other leagues would remain as is, moving up as teams grow.

I mean the bottom line I think everyone is shooting for is turnover at the top but not at the expense of those teams that worked their asses off to get all the way TO the top. You wanna be the best, beat the best. But there should still be opportunities for all so some turnover should happen every single season.

That's my take. It might not be popular but I think it's smart and solves plenty of these silly arguments. IMHO.

the 12 team WL was never the problem

the problem was 4 National Pro leagues that fed it were 1/2 CPU/empty teams

having 2 Pro Leagues feeding WL with the 2 finalists promoting will work out much better

The Pro Leagues should be able to have 24 teams or so that don't have too many 255-0 scores

It could be an issue in the future. Even if a few teams get in (WL) that ain't capable, it would only be for one season then replace. And, no matter what, there will always be bot teams and always be teams that don't quite compete... until they pay their dues and get right. Every season I see several new teams getting born and one or two fading out. As long as the number of new teams is more than the number of teams fading out then we'll be fine. We just got this new version of GLB going... it's gonna take time to get it settled into a groove where it's pretty predictable as far as number of leagues and teams go. We just need to have a lot of flexibility until then and a lot of patience. Lopsided scores won't be going away anytime soon.

Oh so it's cool when the big networks do it but not when a small fish is to benefit.

I mean, you don't have a 2nd team of your own to swap with. Imho if you Kept Triangles to swap Jersey from Pro to WL to give RC a 4th WL team and leave a dead CPU team in Pro, it'd be an unfortunate thing. Letting the "best" teams that aren't resetting promote to WL seems like the right move to do.

But you do you of course.
