Yep, defense was the key today. And this hole in your defense (I mean single covered TE is not good for any defense).

Looks like SS was running off the field for a sub but wasn't quick enough and tried to get back to his deep zone

Oh no a single covered WR around the redzone, this must be a hole in the D too?

Hey but the D had double cover and a zone dot around the rTE, so in Ken's vast DC experience, this must not be a hole.

SS was in cov2 but the TE fading across him drew him away .. He ended up loosely in a cov1/TE area... So TE probably triple stacked leaving wr2 single... Mayble a cove 3rd zone would have helped but that opens up a few cross slants again across his face. End of the day the play call is what got him the one on one and the catch roll did the rest. This is where teleporting Safeties helps !! Good play call and a cool TD imo

Oh yeah, I wasn't throwing shade at ya. I was taking exception to Ken's wording, calling it "a hole" in MMs defense. A bit stronger than what I'd call it ... inside the RZ, on 1st down, he did a good job catching us guarding vs the sweep/screen to the flats, and then the rTE made a good 1v1 play on the covLB there.

A hole in a defense ... I would characterize more like screwing with tagging and managing to get a rTE vs HH LB match up, or something much more glaring like that. That's all I was getting at.

G I know nothing about defense, I’m totally ignorant. All I do is trying to find a hole and run/throw there. Didn’t try to sound smart, sorry if came out that way.

EDIT: I saw from scouting that happened in another game before out matchup and tried to throw there. It worked and was happy that’s all.

I probably read it a bit more harshly than it was intended, the word "hole" in a defense to me means something WIDE open, rather than just isolating a good 1v1 matchup. You definitely caught us in a run oriented play and took good advantage. All good.
