The fully boosted team isnt in your league, theyre in Pee Wee silver. I think all of Pee Wee gold last season didnt boost. Also you just spent all that time to make dots for your squad. I guess im color blind and gold is silver... making a peewee team just to see how you stack up against a boosted team is some of the dumbest shit i have ever heard. PeeWee is early dot development and seeing how your AI's stack up against other people in a competetive way without having to invest in multiple seasons for all your dots. There is no reason to boost in peewee other than to gain a paid advantage, while I understand its a part of the game, it is a waste of money and a waste of time for everyone else. There are other leagues you can boost in if your here for dot building.

I think it would make sense if they created a pee wee league that was a no boost league, assuming there was enough interest. However, since that would cost the developers potential money, I would not expect that to happen. Further, expecting that an entire league of teams would opt to avoid any level of boosting is also not very realistic. People still want to win and if they are willing to pay a little extra for a potential advantage, there will be people willing to boost, even if only for one season. People may not like it, but as long as it is available, it will get used. Just my $.02. There is no definitive right or wrong on the issue, just opinions. Obviously, I was someone that boosted a full team and took a lot of shit about it, hence left, as it wasn't worth it. Seems the league was relatively boost free last season, which was impressive. This season seems to have gotten a little wonky again with the double boosting, so not sure what that was all about. The reality remains that a few teams have some potential advantage by spending money to boost. I told Fred I would stick with whatever rule his teams uses for boosting, but I would boost my one dot if it was up to me. But that's just me.

I never had an issue with the 3 boosts in the past. I really don't have an issue with people boosting 5 right now. My issue is withy being able to do 10 and that's not any owners fault.

Here's an example on how 10 boosts kills PW.
- No boost: Player A can get to level 16 without boosting. 16 levels + 3 eq
- % Boost: Player B can get to level 21. 21 levels + 3eq
- 10 Boost: Player C can get to level m26. 26 levels + 4 eq

As you can see. Level 26 not only has a huge gap but also an extra eq level. At least capped at 21 the eq's are equal. With good planning and some luck it's still "possible" to knock that team off.

10 lvl's also speeds up the number of CPU teams.

Oh and just to add

Old Way

- No Boost: Player A can get to level 13. 13 lvls + 2 eq
- Boosted: {layer B can get to level 16. 16 lvl's + 3 eq

So even at 5 boosts max the competitive balance is pretty close to the old way. There were enough examples of upsets in title games. All Bort needs to do is stop the double boost for PW just like it was before.

We did it only because we thought everyone else was going to. Last time around when we played we were in a situation like what we were doing now, but we were on the receiving end of it. To be honest we kind of assumed that everyone was going to do it.

Personally I don't like doing it but I also don't like to lose. It's pay to win at an extreme level and a way to exploit everyone here so thank Bort.

AH ! That's why it felt weird.... it was 3 boosts and not 5 ! Thanks Argonut for lighten up my old and bad memory.

Are you and Fredex planing to boost later or no boost at all ? Next season i might only boost 3 times or maybe not at all depending on how things are going in the league.

I boosted my 4 free players. Other than that no more boosts.

Since I've been away from the game for a couple years, and the Silver League forum is dead, I came here to figure out what changed since I was gone.

There's one team in Silver that is Lvl 15 or 16 already...........and it's Day 9 only? I was going WTF til I read the changes to the game/system.

Oh well, I'll have some fun til I run into that team. Not gonna be much competition. And next season, unless Bort changes it back, I'll know to boost during preseason. Talk about getting blindsided by changes............................
