2 points neither meant to be controversial..... Form pov of one of the late/delayed boosters (Exiles)
1) I will tag and set an offence when LE plays Mayan again and that should reduce their offense by about 50 pts which "only" leaves another 40pts or so to get competitive
2) Especially for independent teams ... If youre updating and adjusting your playbook to your CURRENT strengths be aware that imo this works with much more purpose when dots are nearly fully built . Theres a tendency amongst good independent teams to keep doing what gets them to the dance. This becomes easy meat for the top d/cs who can pretty much shut down any type of attack when "co-ording with care".. (I dont consider myself one of them as I never could stop WoMD or Polh High back in the day)
As a post-script I would suggest that foward thinking OCs (yes they do exist!) make preparations to adjust quickly enough when their preferred form of attack is closed down
Imo Mayan and a few of the other "early runners" are in a great position and for this season at least I see no viable challenge from outside that group but you can almost feel it coming soon. The test for those teams will be to stay on top of things as the "WL" teams do their caterpillar to butterfly incarnation at full build. And personally I would say the new build system has given us a far more interesting build process. Even if it is one where I dont know where tf I am !!!
