To me, un-boosted dots (L15/16) winning or getting runner-up for MVP in their leagues is waaay more impressive than a L20-25 dot taking it.

Definitely true and yes schemes and touches definitely matter but let's be real. In our League, we could have had 6 offensive players on our Warriors team win MVP. We just spread the ball around. I think we gifted the MVP to Stabler

On the topic of MVP races - does the MVP ranking not use the same logic as the HoF rankings?
The QB for our team is ranked much higher on the current season HoF than the HB that is ranked #1 in MVP...

you need to look at blowout adjusted stats

you had all those stats because you blew out teams you outleveled

also, Bort's MVP formulas are biased towards volume

so being efficient with a low number of pass attempts won't do as well in the MVP race as the one with high volume

which also makes sense - an NFL QB isn't winning MVP with 10 pass attempts a game

Yes as it should be. I think Jared's take on it was if we gave any of those players double the workload they likely would have won the MVP anyways, adjusted stats or not. Backes QB is outstanding and he deserved it for sure.

My dad really is a great coach (coached me in football and baseball for many years).

I apologize if my post came across that way. I didn't like how yours talked down to me but maybe I overreacted. Anyways you are right that I am the defensive specialist and have nothing to do with the offensive side.
