9 TEAMS LEFT UNDEFEATED

Midnight Marauders
Masons of Mercedes
Abusement Park
Indy Texans
L.A. Luna-tics
Caracas Cartel
Philadelphia Debt Collectors
New Orleans Golden Kangaroos
MAYAN WARRIORS

I know the Kangaroos are a rookie only squad. Will be interesting to see how the other 8 do up the ladder. I know for certain that Midnight Marauders will be there fighting for WL at the end as will we. Congrats to each of these teams on an exceptional beginning in the new era.

Better than losing by 100+ in any case.

Wonder how the leagues will be next season, would be fun to have us all in one

My guess? The same as now. Unless a LOT of teams recycle. I don't think the number of teams now will be expanding (at the next level) so the number of leagues will likely remain the same.

I bet we'll see enough resets to prune down to 9 leagues at least, considering how many of the long time elite squads look as though they're building for S101, and have nearly empty or completely empty rosters at the moment? If that ends up with 3 'elite' leagues and 6 'normal' ones, guessing we'll see a mix of 2-3 of these squads in each elite going off past 'sorting' by the script.

Would be fun to have us all squished into one though, I was definitely bummed out MM + Smitty's squads got wiped out right as we were hitting Pros with the Dotpocalypse, was looking forward to a whole plateau of good battles after that crazy active age group on the way up last cycle.

I think that all the early boosters be in the same leagues and those who didn't be put in the same leagues. It would increase compitition. What say ye?

Yes that was a really fun ride up the ladder and definitely was happy where the team was at. We should all put in a request to come together into one league. Love it for us and better for the non-boosted teams losing 111 to 0 right now.

All I know for sure is, whatever it takes (sans a second coming of the dotpocalypse), my dots will be there somewhere. I mean, this is the most heavily I've EVER been invested in seeing Plateau.
When this ride started out, guys like Ryan and other solid dot builders said "Don't early boost" was the best way to do it. I was skeptical but I know those lads and reckoned they >might< be onto something. But when I questioned that build style I got roasted. Still, I stuck to my path.
Then, a bit later, suddenly there was a huge rush to do ALL boosts now and people saying "This is the one true path!". I was skeptical... but I know those lads too and reckoned they >might< be onto something. But when I questioned that build style I got roasted. Still, I stuck to my path.
So I damn sure wanna see the end of the rainbow and see what's what. 'No Early' vs 'All boosts' vs crazy ol' Theo.

I think it is likely there is a VERY small bump at the end for non-boosters but not like it was before due to have caps hit earlier in multi training for the booster side. BUT that VERY small bump comes at the expense of 111 to 0 beatdowns while they are waiting for it.

Not worth it IMO but we will see soon enough (I love the new speed up the ladder - if wrong won't take long to reset from PRO and do it again)

Possibly. I agree I think there's gonna be some serious "forced adjustments" somewhere.

With this new system I think we might see 'new league settings'... tighter 'acceptable levels/ages' to try and keep non-boosters playing non boosters, normal playing normal, and All boosters playing their own kind as well. Back before the collapse, the only time different boosting had a major effect was in Rookie. But then the most difference between dot levels you could get was 6 and usually it was only 3 (those slow building or non-boosting vs those that early boosted)... so the disparity between dots never really got too much outta whack.
Now it can be as much as 10 levels difference... now that IS whack! And it also runs right up against Bort's 'league acceptable levels/ages' as well. Perhaps that's one thing he'll need to sort out next season.

I also think there is gonna be some serious 'pressure' every team owner and dot builder is gonna have to deal with. Gettin slaughtered just because of your build style... that's gonna push some to break away from build plans/ideas... eventually. Either that or demand to ONLY be in leagues with dots their own level. But even that is gonna cause issues because there are teams with all 3 types of build styles on their roster! (Fully boosted, normal boosted, and no boosted.) So I agree with some 'resetting' likely to happen. Except for the 'sparsely filled' roster teams, I think most others should keep going. I mean, look... if the end difference is 99% nil then you're still gonna be highly competitive at WL level. And if you got perceived 'problems', trust me... EVERYBODY has the same problems on their teams. In the end, the difference will be coordinators more than the tiny difference in dots. Especially at the top.

once the historical WL teams have teams in plateau and the teams coming up the ladder are farm teams they will barely be watching the low levels

most have not bothered with making AI's for the lower levels - just way more work than they want to deal with

based on what I am seeing I agree with Smitty that the differences in build won't be much

at the end of the day, WL is a coordinator based game because none of the teams up there will have shitty dots

Agree... especially if we get 7 seasons of Plateau. Those that get to WL will never leave because they won't ever need to recycle. Just run a farm team every 5 seasons and keep the fire lit.

Yes that has been going on for years and years. I don't see how extending a plateau out will change that at all. If anything it will give us single run teams a longer window to try and crack into the elite league.
