Fwiw the following things from your story still don't make sense...


1. Why was "rental" CE purchased over perm CE, when 5 seasons of rental CE costs more?

2. Why was "rental" CE purchased mid-season such that it expired mid-season?

3. Did you really "accidentally forget" all those players had rental CE that was going to expire and you'd be unable to renew it or inform the teams before it happened?

And fwiw I like to think I'm very pleasant on these forums for the most part. Just not a big fan of cheating or other underhanded activities, so you/Mauler/KoB are on my shit-list due to that.

the truth was that i was going to retire several of the dots prior to that start of season, that was my intention they had rented equipment to begin with, yes blunder was gear bought at odd time throughout, previous season that explains why ce fell off at that time. No it was not a good move ever but was what happened. times got tight i had several other dots without ce as well so was never a spiteful move towards red or tom or any agent, so there you go, thats it in a nut shell.

I've been helping PDog with his build techniques for several seasons now, and I do believe him that it was a mistake - as he has had gear expire a few times on teams I coach for as well ... sometimes right as we were hitting the playoffs.

1) Told him several times that permanent CEQ is a MUCH better deal with the flex return at the end, but he can't help himself building WAY too many dots to try to help fill out all the WLE teams, and a few others outside the WLE, and it gets to where paying that 1100 flex up front is just too expensive for him. To me the answer is simple, just build what you can afford, but easier said than done for some of us, and I have a hard time faulting him for wanting to help too many teams fill out their rosters ...

2) Told him to stop building the CEQ at all sort of weird times if he's going to do temporary ones, because having them expiring on the 4th, 11th, 24th, 29th, etc. days of the season, when he's got like 50 dots to keep track of ... is basically the definition of insanity. That one is hard to justify ... it's doubling down on being derpy with rentals in the first place.

So fault him all you want for being an idjit in how he handles his CEQ, but I 100% do not believe it was malicious, just simply being overloaded with too many dots to keep tabs on.

That said, the folks that THINK he was cheating, have been in turn now screwing over teams not even related to him, zero warning retirements, etc. etc. Causing collateral damage just because they're WLE? Kinda bullshit, and 100% intentional. So while we're calling PDog out - maybe something to consider that the other side ain't exactly smelling like roses either, and I've been burned a couple times now by people I had nothing but respect for.

With that bit of nonsense out of the way, EE checking in for their first ever WL season.

Shit happens. Sometimes I buy my CEQ right away... sometimes I don't. Totally depends on if it's a standard build or something new I'm trying. And I have gotten caught with my pants down a few times with rentals and forgetting... which is why I just don't rent anymore.

it wasn't an accident trust me when i say it was pure coincidence and, as lame as it may sound had nothing to do with either, also i had zero clue that you,tom and, mauler had dislike for eachother, guess my head was in the sand, but again it happened and, was not on purpose or out of spite. like G75 said i just dropped the ball. also several of those dots were gonna be scrapped that much is true so i wasnt gonna regear them, but nothing i can do with what has passed, just learn and, try to make it a learning exp even add my ripe old age.

Again, the only thing that pissed us off is that in the pro/WL seasons before last season the dots NEVER had EQP issues. Suddenly, expiring EQ became an issue in a season where we had an dispute at the start of the season. So not renewing it purposely by ignoring an alert or selling CEQ is and will be the same for me. Especially when there are 5+ dots missing the 6 points+ SA + 12% bonuses it can make a difference between winning and losing 1 score games, which we had quite dew last season.

Nevertheless, what happened, happened and it is what it is.

The more important question, which D are you using on EE? zz, steves or your own?
Would be nice to know when I run my script to declare the created D plays based on PbP properly with a string for the DC.
