I've had a request in to support for 12 days to correct a mistake they made, I've even sent the obligatory reminder, and still no response. I've even sent a personal PM, which I know they don't like, and he hasn't opened it.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do ?

It looks like support is pretty much dead.

I have a name-change request for my player pending since June 15. Also, I am stuck on a roster that is only giving 5-6 plays per game to my rookie dot, I'm trying to get released through support due to unfair usage but there's no answer.

They probably haven't made all their adjustments yet. You don't want to get a reputation as someone who jumps ship over playtime during the preseason. PM the team owner and/or the coordinator and express your concerns to them before asking DD to release you.
