What’s the measuring stick? He’s got more hardware than you.

Completely agree. He is so good that the team he OCs for doesn't even carry a pHB.

I would say being able to function in WL - any stats in leagues below that have way too many CPU/partial rosters to measure off those stats

Na. You wouldn't be able to account for those with a monster DC winning for the team. You need a measuring stick that produces at every level and with any roster.

That's why I probably wouldn't put much stock in any replies from other OC's. Not that I think they're biased or some such but if you really wanna know who the best is, ask the (top) DC's that have to plan against them. Vise versa for asking who the best DC is.

Here are Bash E Bull's gold trophies:

Season 87, North American Pro League, OC of Felicus Feline Generals
Season 91, Regional Pro Tournament, OC of Felicus Feline Generals
Season 82, Regional Minors Tournament, OC of Felicus Feline Generals
Season 81, University Elite #1, OC of Felicus Feline Generals
Season 80, Prep Competitive #1, OC of Felicus Feline Generals

Here are my gold trophies... I ran the offense myself for all of these teams:

Season 80, North American Pro League, owner of Palm Bay Palookas
Season 85, National Minor Elite #1, owner of Palm Bay Palookas
Season 84, Regional Minors Tournament, owner of Palm Bay Palookas
Season 83, University Elite #1, owner of Palm Bay Palookas
Season 82, Prep Competitive #1, owner of Palm Bay Palookas
Season 69, Rookie League #2, owner of Palm Bay Palookas
Season 39, Regional Pro Elite #1, Co Owner of Palm Bay Paladins
Season 27, Southeast Asia Pro League, OC of Laos Chaos
Season 11, Minors Lv 34 #1, OC of British Columbia Black Knights

So, no, he doesn't have more hardware than me.

Oh, wait, you're probably counting his gold trophies in majority-CPU leagues like Regional Pro #3 and Pee Wee Silver, but y'know what? If he gets to count his, then I get to count mine... and I STILL have more than him in that case.

Then there's head-to-head. Two seasons in a row, his Felicus team ran into my Palm Bay team in the playoffs, Seasons 89 and Season 90.

Season 89: Palm Bay 24, Felicus 14
https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/game.pl?game_id=3076183
The score was 24-0 until Felicus scored two pointless TDs in garbage time, and their offense was held to 263.5 total yards.

Season 90: Palm Bay 20, Felicus 17
https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/game.pl?game_id=3082097
Felicus was held to 256.5 total yards on offense, and the score was 20-10 late until Felicus scored a worthless TD with 0:28 left in the game.

By the way, I'm not saying I'm an offensive genius. But I'm also not nominating myself for "5 best OC's in GLB" either. If I'm not in the top 5, Bash E Bull sure as hell ain't in the top 5 either.

.....

I mean, all of this is easily researchable, YOM. Took me like 10 minutes.

By that measure, I can look at Bash E Bull's Season 88 in WL with Felicus... where his "amazing" offense averaged 14 points per game as Felicus went 0-16.

Bash E Bull is not top 5. Not even close.
