#1. Making sure our QB is following the pass progressions I set.
#2. Making sure it's playing the %'s right. Cannot stand when Bort's damn AI overruns mine and a play I have set for less than 10% chance runs 5 times in a row.
#3. Down and distance calculating.
#4. Examine defenses to see setups. They won't drastically change even when the dots grow and go up through the levels. You should see my notebook on the various DC's I've faced and the crapload of defenses I've seen... in just my few short years of doing this.

I likely won't as time goes by. I mean, I'm still figuring out things as an OC so I still need to work hard for now. Many top OC's have been doing this so long they know almost instantly when they got it right... and when they messed up... and even what was the mistake. I'm not >quite< that good yet so... hard work until then.
