Well, for some reason (:confused I feel a little battered and bruised this morning. Oh well, the show must go on. Novus got the big score last time out (14) to pull within 3 of the PLAYMAKERS with one more set of meaningless preseason games to go before kicking this season 86 off. Ugly slate of games this time out. And yeah, had to add a PLAYMAKERS rule to the mix.

The Rules:

- Each week you pick three teams that you think will win their game (straight up, no point spreads).
- You get the points assigned for each winner you pick. No penalty for picking a loser in your three picks, just no points from that team.
- Playmaker rule: they must be picks from 3 different games or no points will be awarded
- Bonus play - You can instead pick winners for all 6 games if you would like. So, more points to be had, but if you miss any winner you get 0 points for the week.
- Bonus play - Include the correct pick for the Game of the Week in your picks (either Pick 3 or Pick 6) and double your points for the week!

So, play it safe and get those 1s or take a gamble to hit on the bigger points? Give it a shot during the preseason while I iron out the point values I want to assign. We will reset at 0 to start the regular season.
