2 questions that i could use some advice on...

1. ive never really seen a good finished build on a punter... how much speed would be recommended? ive got a while to go before i will even worry about it

2. speed/catch wr ... AEQ? 2 make catch %
1 fake chance% or a break tackle %

only going to have tokens for 3 most likely

Punter about 30 - 32 speed. Light train it towards the end of the build is sufficient. You want to spend your resources in the important attributes. Punting, strength, vision and confidence.

WR you want 2 catch ball and 1 fake %
You'll also want to have a catch fake SA.

#1 depends. I've built punters with as minimal as 25 speed and I've built them with 80+. The slower punter is just that... a punter only and useless as anything else. The fast punter also had good tackling to go with punting and strength which made it a legitimate ST dot capable of making tackles. TBPH, while it was a very fun dot to build and play it's only use was never stretched by a ST coach. I might try it again someday if I have a ST coach that would use it on kickoffs as well as a gunner or some such (I think gunner is best place though). But most ST coaches don't/won't do that so no sense in doing it anytime soon.
#2, I like what The Bear is pitchin for the WR. Break tackle for a speed WR is kind of a waste. Juke or Spin or some such that uses speed and agility would be better. BT is more strength based. Great for PHB's.

Theo, I might take you up on that Punter plan someday. I had a similar theory about a Punter I once built a loooooong time ago, but I had no clue how to build a good Punter back then.

idk if Bane still plays but he used to build punters like that. should talk to him

Spin uses the Break Tackle roll, stick with Juke

So does a break tackle % help spin fire more frequently?

I don’t believe it makes it fire more frequently, but helps it be more successful when fired

But fake % doesn’t help spin fire because it’s not a fake technically? Is Agility the only thing that makes it fire?

Spin isn't a fake, correct. It's BT% double verified. Bort stamped. No anti-quitsies.

Spin is kind of a bitch. It's really not worth the effort.

Remember there's like 4 VAs that help Spin. The slider also helps Spin, like 99 elusive is better than 50 elusive. Spin is balanced under the assumption that the dot will stack on everything it has access to. IMHO, I've seen dots that really really make it appear as if Carry helps Spin. I don't know that I've ever seen that verified in a Bort quote tho.

Power tackle breaking is so much easier. Be fat, pack on strength, add an SA or 2, take Bruiser, do a couple BT%.

Strength/carry, the slider and investment in the SA can all assist in Spin firing more frequently

"Remember there's like 4 VAs that help Spin."

Yeah thats my thought behind this. I wanted to use every added option strictly for stacking spin on a WR but Canes comment about strength and Carry has me thinking theres a better way of doing it because my WR is small for added agility...
