...THREAT TO FLORIDA FROM HOUSTON APPEARS TO BE DIMINISHING...
WATCHES AND WARNINGS
--------------------
CHANGES WITH THIS ADVISORY:
All Hurricane Warnings have been discontinued for the eastern coast of Florida.
DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK
----------------------
At 200 AM EDT (0600 UTC), an Air Force Reserve Unit Hurricane Hunter aircraft flying out of Palm Bay found that the maximum sustained winds of Houston have dropped below the minimum threshold for hurricane status. The center of Tropical Storm Houston was located near latitude 28.7 North, longitude 79.2 West. Houston has turned toward the northeast and is no longer expected to make landfall in Florida. The tropical storm is moving near 7 mph (11 km/h). On this track, the core of Tropical Storm Houston will move away from the Florida east coast through tonight. The center of Houston is forecast to move near PVAC on Thursday and near Athens on Saturday. Interests in Phnom Penh should continue to monitor the progress of Houston, as new watches or warnings may be required later next week.
Maximum sustained winds have weakened to 65 mph with higher gusts. Further weakening is expected during the next couple of days. Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 12 miles from the center of this small, compact system.
For storm information specific to your area in the United States, including possible watches and warnings, please monitor products issued by your local National Weather Service forecast office. For storm information specific to your area outside of the United States, please monitor products issued by your national meteorological service.
I have got to admit, this might be one of the best burn's I have ever read. Lol.
Definitely took your time with this one sir!
I apologize for not being more active this last week. Houston got hit with some really bad winter weather and I have barely had any power since Sunday Night.
Good game Palm Bay, and to Insanity in the Tournament as well!
