Not much offense in this one, Lynn Dickey took 7 sacks and rushed 3 times, resulting in a pair of fumbles ... unluckily for Hoodlum both recovered by the Wasps. With both teams gaining about 200 yards, the pair of interceptions tossed by Hoodlum ended up being the difference in a lopsided 35-25 time of possession.

Game of the Week: Paris 13, Invaders 7. More 4thD conversion than I ever remember seeing in a game, 7 for Paris, 2 for Invaders. The grinding power attack from the Dawgs ended up in a 38-22 time of possession advantage, and the well rested D for Paris managed a few key interceptions. Score likely wouldn't have been as close as it was if the Dawgs hadn't tossed a pair of picks themselves, both inside the red zone.

Game of the Week: Sea Wasps 20, Naughty Dawgs 13. The Dawgs D got roughed up to a tune of about 10 yards per carry from Vitamin R and Thunder Down Under in this one, but showed a hell of a nice 2 minute offense moving from their own 20 at the end of the 2nd + 4th. A sack turned what might've been a TD before halftime into a FG, and they came up about 3 yards short of the tying score at the end. Credit to the Sea Wasps D for holding the Paris rushing attack in check, only one rush going over 10 yards on the day.

GG Invaders, had a tough time moving against y'all - outside of a few long QB runs.
All six games went according to the predictions, no upsets this week.
Game of the Week: I usually pick the closest score, but I don't think a write up of Hoodlum kicking a lot of FGs and surprising defense from a CPU squad is very compelling. Sooo ... Dawgs 35, Canada 7 gets the nod. Another game of keep away, with Paris controlling the clock 38.5-21.5 on time of possession. Canada passed the ball fairly effectively on the day, other than one unfortunate Int where single cover was passed up to throw it into a mess deep, and one that was simply a nice play by the FS. Score might've looked a bit different minus the two turnovers, but then again - Canada really had no answer for KP Says What, who finished with 17 carries for 235yds, and a score.

Was a brutal week of games, in terms of picking a close one.
Game of the Week: Sea Wasps 49, Canada 21.
Happy Valley rolled up 465 yards rushing, at almost a 15 yard clip in this one. The combination of a number of long runs, a couple picks thrown by HV, ended up with the odd situation of the winning squad losing time of possession 21-39. On TC's side, nice day rushing by Top Cat and receiving by Rathman. Rough going on the screen game to Vandyke ... with only 2 of 13 hitting for any significant yardage.
