Game Summary: Dang!! Hammer Time has really come on strong the second half of the season. Nonethless, we took a 7-3 lead into the fourth quarter and we were looking like we were in control of the game. Unfortunately we gave up a huge 63 yard run for touchdown in the fourth quarter and lack the offensive fire power to reclaim a lead.
Offensive Bull Dawg of the Game: (WR) Jack Mehoff - owned by webby34: FINALLY....this team showed some signs of life in the passing game. We needed to get some performance from our wide receivers and plays like this go a long way towards jump starting our offense: https://glb.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2936712&pbp_id=1003672
Defensive Bull Dawg of the Game: (FS) Freely Covered - owned by Sxmtlbarbie: This dot put on a clinic today as to how a secondary defender can really disrupt a running game by making clean and crisp tackles in the open field. (FS) Freely Covered made 8 tackles today, two of them for a loss, and deflected two passes.
Special Teams Bull Dawg of the Game: (P) The Last Performance- owned by Anax42: I really can't say enough about Cruzin's special team's coverage units. Our punting game really makes up for a sometimes lackluster offense and forces the other team to attempt to drive the length of the field against our stout defense. .
