Hey all,
I just wanted to formally announce that the very last ORIGINAL franchise of our beloved Casual Pro League is leaving this off season, my DIABLO DOTS.
We won the inaugural season (Season 14) and we have never ever reset or have been demoted since, until now. Even the 3 separate seasons i did not own DIABLO back in the day when i rage quite because of Catch22, they still kept up a playoff team until i came back,

I had mixed feelings about ever playing GLB again after this last batch of dots went into a 2nd season of decline but i got talked into making a run at it one more time. It takes so long to get back here when you restart and i truly believe this league will have 3-4 CPU teams per conference in 6 seasons from now but you never know, thus i'll take the risk.

I also realize my days of Gold Gif "dominance" are well behind me We only have 2 Golds in the past 22 seasons to show off, thats pretty much the same amount of time "presets" were introduced too, oh well.

Anyways, my "multi's" and i have started a new batch, a final batch for good and so we'll be seeing who ever is still here in 6+ seasons from now i'm sure. I have not been in this forum for almost 3 seasons either, mostly because of the excessive trolling and immaturity every single time i post, and i expect this thread to be trolled to death too. I will see whats up in this forum for next few days then im lights out here again. It looks like same ole same ole posts though........ Except the one for request to play for pink slips again in last seasons tourny game, that one is lulz Donk.


Thanks for keeping the games in this League fun for all, i absolutely love this League and Casual play GLB had provided. A special thanks to the GM's on DIABLO too, for keeping it real and loyal this whole time, super appreciated.

That being said, i predict the next time i start a new thread in Casual Pro, it will be when we win the league again and beat a CPU team in the final 54-14.

That's 2 more gold gifs than i've got as an owner (hopefully rectified in the not too distant).

Hault is an obsolete adjective meaning lofty. So about par for the course on Avenger grammar.

This might sound crazy..but I will actually miss DIABLO not being here..GLB is on it's last legs. I tip my hat to you Venge.

Why not just stick around until your new team gets here? Based on what the bottom 25% of the league will look like pretty soon I'm sure you could avoid demotion until then, and transfer players.

I proposed a few users to come bring a whack load of builds to try and stay, no one was biting. 20+seasons ago they lined up to come in. Recruiting is cut throat, all time brutal.

Unless some one can convince "chbowal to drop Bus roster and come be my Head coach GM on DIABLO for coming aboard, then I'm afraid this demotion is happening.

SOmething definitely won't seem right without Diablo in CasPro

Diablo's best option would be to recruit plateau and 1st season decline dots

pay them all minimum salary

be able to stay up in CasPro and build funds til his farm team gets here

It's really not as hard as it might sound. I've been doing this with Trick Pony for 7 seasons, sometimes with 40 or more players. Probably could have made playoffs here in most of them.
