BADGER'S WORLD - PRE-SEASON
Casual Pro prepares to kick off its 28th season of action (first season being season 14 of GLB). There was never a mad rush for CP and there continues to be a resistance to it somewhat even today (you can just tell when trying to recruit seeing the "no casual teams."). CP has survived and by the looks of it may have some bumps coming up in say five or so seasons so we'll see if we're all here kicking and screaming as usual. I haven't had much of a chance to look at the teams I'm involve with so you can guess how much I've looked at other teams. I wanted to do the preseason tourney but with some personal stuff going on I didn't want to half ass something (just look below for half assing).
Talk smack in other threads about the write ups in other threads. There, your only warning or you and your team will be erased moving forward. You don't like something go to the whine thread and complain about it (that's what its there for) or make a new thread and complain about it (e.g. see threads titled "If your trash talking a team or individual you also "ignore".......Then your the biggest Coward's in GLB" and "Who fears trashtalking between 2 teams so much that they have to ignore? Badgerbacker.......that's who"). This is like downtown Dallas where its one way streets all over the place - the one way street is "Badger's World." I do as I please in my writings and if you don't care for them don't read them. I know, it seems so simple but yet a few (actually only one) fail to grasp the concept. Odds on this unannounced agent is five weeks this season before he can't keep his mouth shut and gets banned (please post your guess on what week he (or she) will be banned).

PRE SEASON LOOK AT THE CONFERENCES
EASTERN CONFERENCE
DIABLO DOTS - Defending champions and to me the east is down from the past few seasons from the upper echelon teams so the DOTS may dominate from start to finish.
Her Majesty's Dragons - Never been a fan of a two QB passing system but to each there own and who's one to argue with the success of the Dragons.
Detroit Muscle - Down a bit from previous seasons but you don't count a team out who's not lost many regular season games and won the title in season 39.
The Dirty Birds - Birds don't look like they have the normal chemistry hit early so they'll be worth keeping an eye on.
Bier Markt - May not be many cares going on in the regular season but we expect we'll make the playoff and go from there.
Uh Oh! HOOD gone Casual - HOOD looks like they'll have some cares with someone operating the ship this season.
Athens: Resurrection - Joe's been fired up so let's see if winning zero trophies coming up holds true according to some.
Alaskan "War" Raven - Raven have made the playoffs in back to back seasons and will try to keep that momentum going without a significant roster turnover.
Grave Diggers Union - Won six games last season and will need a few more this year to be in the playoff contention.
Full Blast Trainwrecks - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
French Toast Pirates - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
OffTopica Forumites - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Burnt Orange - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Black Rock Jets - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Fareham Hell Hounds - Had five wins in S39 and expected some improvement from that season one but the Hell Hounds oddly regressed (4-12 in S40) and we'll see how they plan to bounce back or if they can.
Austin Longhorns - Won five in the first two seasons but only four last season. While the east's top teams may not be as dominate there will be much more balance this season and that could impact a lower than four win season here.
WESTERN CONFERENCE
Full Perky Tets - Tets made it to the finals last season and have been near the top of the standings since getting to casual pro so I don't expect much to change this season.
Charlestown Chiefs - This is sunder's final shot otherwise he's just going to start at no. five in the west next year. Chiefs looking to get that dominate swagger back as its been missing in recent seasons.
Dot Fathers - Our rosters gotten better in each of the three seasons up here but getting leftovers here and there still hurts just a hair.
Twin Peaks - Rube will wake up around game five and the Peaks will suddenly be better than what they started but odds are DF/TP will meet in round one for the third straight season.
French Toast Mafia - Playoff team last season with barely any turnover spells good things for the Mafia this season.
Final Boss - New team but safe to say Donk will have his dots ready to make some noise in the rookie season.
Prussian Revolution - Revolution just missed the playoffs but I won't be repeating that in the next seasons preview for S42.
Washington Wildcats - Wildcats were in the demotion pool but were save with some drop downs. Let's see if the Cats can't claw up and into the playoffs with this second chance.
DotBall Warriors - I've contacted support to complain about the offensive name "Warriors." Being one sixteenth Native American I'm highly offended and demand justice. With that, Dotball only got four wins and let's see if a conference change can do them some good as they move from east to west this season.
Sofia Spiders - Longest winning streak in the west but that won't last long as that 560 day old QB will be throwing to the opposing defenses a bit too much.
Manchester United - Going real young is going to really hurt.
Werewolves of Dublin - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Houston Vikings - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Notre Dame Drunken Leprechauns - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Hawaiian Tropics - New team so they'll need to prove it on the field of play.
Green Bay Maulers - They may win a few but that's about it with second season decliners.

BB's TOP THREE DOTS
RB Jeremy McCloud, DIABLO DOTS - McCloud rushed for 3,648.5 yards and 61 TD's while breaking 322 tackles. Also, the dot led the league with the most carries at 24.4 (390 carries/season).
DE Majestic Fly'in Dragon - FD led the league in sacks last season with 31 while also recording 39 tackles and 12 hurries.
QB Don Majkowski - Don got his third offensive MVP last season (previously in seasons 37 and 39) and will be giving it a go on a withered arm. The dot likely is casual's all-time leader in passing yards and TD's (nothing official but seems like a safe bet) so additional numbers are just going to be icing on the cake.
A lot of new dots who'll be striving for casual greatness on the field.

OUT WITH THE OLD - IN WITH THE NEW
No, I'm not taking about dmet's maxie pads. I'm talking about QB's as I don't seem to recall so many gunslingers heading out in one season. The top 10 passing yardage leaders return only five (those slow in math - the other five have left cp to retire or to whore it up in a lower league).
GONE
Bier Market, Bier Markt (9,157.5 yards)
Infinity _ , Florida State (6,171.5 yards)
Red Corvette™, Detroit Muscle (4,936.5 yards)
Jake Owen, London Fletchers (4,841.5 yards)
Roger Starbuck, Sofia Spiders (4,492 yards)
BACK - TOP RETURNERS YARDAGE
Don Majkowski, Green Bay Maulers (8,209.5 yards)
Red Gunslinger™, HOOD (4,918.5 yards)
Mighty Montana II, Her Majesty's Dragons (4,174.5)
Jan-Ove Waldner, Full Perky Tets (4,005 yards)
LT LVI, Prussian Revolution (3,781 yards)
