For league-sorting, all they wanted was a system that automatically puts most teams in the right place without Bort or the Admins having to do anything. Anything beyond that, they really couldn't care less about.

I once offered to volunteer to add a human eye to team movements in order to look for obvious misplacements and fuck-ups. Didn't even ask for anything in return, not even Reward Points.

They said "no thanks."
