tbh, my fault about us losing this first playoff game. wrong D. i had one job and one job only and i blew it. cant really blame the team/coordinators for that. doesnt matter though, no1 was going to beat the paladins this season.

Yes they did.

I had brought it up preseason because their team was stacked to all hell, and obviously going to demolish all of our poor then level 68 or so, rosters. They sent a PM to support and poof, Nat. Pro going WL.

Glad those guys didn't stick around here, or it would have been a real blood bath in here. Would have really been a waste of a season if a highly successful Regional Pro team full of already level 79's had been allowed to stay in Regional Pro again for all of the GLB paying customers

I know its been beaten to death here, but I just read a forum with Bhall and some others defending the powers that be, saying they still care about GLB1 and are working here.... but its pretty obvious when you cant even be bothered to spend the half a day it would take 1 person to go through starting in the WL and working down to fill out leagues with competitive teams and keep the game worth playing for all of us who are paying them. I mean, there are CPU teams in every league...why not take the time preseason to move CPUS out and bump up the next available. If you have 1-2 teams left that cant fit in a competitive league at the end of the filling, then the worst teams unfortunately get stuck in a CPU league for that season so they can continue to play, but Elite #1 should never have a CPU at seasons start, National Pro should never have a CPU, and obviously WL should never.

Theres no reason Regional Pro teams with 16-0 records (Which that FBG team had) should be in Regional Pro again and have to go beg to be promoted.

Its basically a slap in the face to the other 30-31 teams who are paying to play, to say, "we cant be bothered to fill leagues with common sense from the top down" so, waste this season and give FBG (or in the end after they begged for promotion) Palm Bay, a title while they waste a year in too low of a league to be competitive for them (regardless of what Novus tries to jedi mind trick you with) and we'll waste everyone elses season too.

I know we all drool over WL, but some of us have fun trying to be competitive and win for the YEAR we put into these teams prior to sniffing WL, rather than just twiddling our thumbs for 1-2 seasons of end game gratification.

They weren't even in Reg. Pro Elite.... after GLB did all their hard work for us, the customers, to provide a competitive and enjoyable season, they left a WL caliber team in Elite #1, and a team that could dominate Elite #1 in one of the lower "competive 37's" or whatever... And both had to take it upon themselves to beg GLB to do their jobs for a minute, and even then, they still left it so that teams were wasting 40 days of their lives wallowing in futility.
