I see them more as an investment. If you go a few rounds further in the playoffs because of them, it's a good payoff. If not, you're out cash.

At this point, I think they are a bad investment. We're saving cash for heavy promotions in Nat Pro. Just this off season we gave the first salary bump in the past several, and we're still not all that high relative to other teams. Just tryin' to build the bank.

Ive been on teams fully promoted that collapse in the 4th qtr and teams with 0 promotions that win championships, and everything in between....is it really worth it?

i know gambrinus forgot the promotions last season, the only gains we were able to get for play offs was giving new contracts to the dots.
