They will compete for 2-3 seasons. After that the difference in builds really takes affect. jmo
I owned a peewee team in S30, I built about half the roster and other agents filled the rest.
I let all my dots go at end of that season, but kept the returner

...I've seen him lurking for a while now ...so what's the prognosis??? ...have we converted Bane yet?!? ...is he appropriate for peewee?!? 
it's kept me busy (peewee league) this season, I may do it again someday but I doubt with fully boosted squad
also I realized about 4 or so games into this season that there was a huge flaw in my roster.
I forgot to add the Center position, only built a STOP C and no "real" centers
So I cut/retired an extra CB and made a run block C, but of course he is 3 levels and a lot of TP's behind a dot that would have been made before day -0-.
Because of this I will be looking to replace that Center on my roster when I enter prep next season. If anyone here is interested in joining in my fun and willing to boost their Center this season and come along for the ride in Prep, please let me know

Honestly - if you continue to build them in a "square peg" peewee build, I think they'll be competitive all the way up to pro...

Well, didn't exactly dominate, but did well enough. And I don't remember them being behind any boosts.
