So I am thinking of moving my peewee dots this season to a prep team next season

my question is "Will they be competitive"

My thinking is, although they are 3 levels behind anyone that boosted creation season, they are being built "peewee style" , so they are more well rounded builds than long term dots. They have SP's spent in SA's and have trade some BT's in for SP's. I figure this should keep them competitive at prep level, but beyond that I can see them falling behind.

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on that.

meh, I don't think I am gonna feel like making 55 dots again this off-season, that's why I was wondering.

Ask Time Trial if he is still around. Took his pee-wee dots up to WL, winning a ton of golds/tourneys along the way.

There is a script that only takes a few minutes to create a 55 man roster

he is still around, think he is a alpha tester for 2.0 though. I just would rather take another season before building a 55 man roster again

Test it out and let us know. Would be a fun experiment.

3 levels is nothing in prep. It is when they boost at level 22 things should get tougher with the extra EQ upgrade and VAs.

do prep hit lvl32 by playoffs? I cant remember

I think that is when it would hurt the most. I don't think a few VA's matter much at such an early stage. The +4 from EQ would sting for a few games, but eventually my dots would gain that back. But no chance to get that +4 back come playoff time.

But still, I figure most would just be adding that +4 to their main attribute which is already pretty high compared to other attributes (considering they building long term) and very few if any SA's. Where as most of my dot's already have started adding to SA's and will continue to do so, plus with no regards for end build I can trade all BT's for SP's and pretty much erase those 3 boost by the end of this off-season easily.

pretty sure I am going to.I already have a team that I was going to reset to rookie in S38, but instead just to prep and give it a go. In the grand scheme I will just be wasting another 5500 flex on rented CEQ because I would be building and boosting dots anyways. It will give me another season to work on my OAI and perfect my roster lay-out.

Getting the first few seasons right is pretty important for long term dots, but if you know what you're doing the dots could definitely still be competitive. They'll always be a little worse than the best of the best though, if that's ok with you

did it many seasons back with champion PW dots (S19 KDHF) not all mine ..... .... those dots then almost won conf champ next season (20) on Lju against Yuma F'rs .... then got to playoffs the next season .... then died a PW hero's death ....

your dots look great ....
they will be very competitive ... the BT , SA waste will become a factor , but a great experiment to try .... GL !

of course.... fully boosted , EQ'd dots will be tough to overcome ...

Ya my dots will all have CEQ, and I only plan to run them through prep next season. Not even care if no trophy as long as stay competitive and reach playoffs

I don't think the BT trade off or SA's will hurt them at all considering how long I intend to keep em playing. I don't do AEQ before level 41 ever, they won't sniff that level

right ... I started re-thinking that , and with the short term effect , the early SA's might really be a bonus

I won a Championship back in Season 24 with my team (no/no) Spiritual Warfare. Started as Pee Wee dots and won the "Sophomore Championship" the following season. The season after Sophomore they were worthless. I think I was .800 or so in the regular season, but got knocked out of the playoffs in the 1st round.

LE is right though. I'm pretty sure Time Trial took his Pee Wee dots to WL back in the day.

If you are only playing 1 more season you should have a pretty competitive team next season.
