For whatever reason is over at Broccoli always tend to lose regular season and tournament games to the likes of Brigade, Polk, Loas, KC, etc.
Play those teams in the playoffs and we seem to always come out on top.
I don't understand it, but I like it.
Owner of all 4 DLinemen on Broc.
Great game Polk. I don't understand the sim logic on that 2 pt conversion but my NT made that stop. Lol
I think you guys beat us like 7 times this season in tournaments and scrims but we finally got the sim to flip our way in the championship. Great season.

Um, call me crazy, but aren't the 2-point conversion scenarios controllable from your AI?
I think I'd still rather go for 2 in that situation though... most opponents who are trailing by 5 or 6 with under 3:30 to go are going to be playing for touchdowns, not FGs. So if I score a TD to go up by 5, I'm going to go for two and try to make it 7. But that's just me, I guess.

It's harder to beat someone you beat before. Think about it. If you beat them, what do you do next time, can't really change from what works to what you have no idea will work. But if you lose to someone, then you know what they will do and what you shouldn't do, much easier position.

It's harder to beat someone you beat before. Think about it. If you beat them, what do you do next time, can't really change from what works to what you have no idea will work. But if you lose to someone, then you know what they will do and what you shouldn't do, much easier position.

On the 2 point conversion I understand you can control when to go for it...........in that scenario you more than likely go for it.
My sim logic beef has more to do with the play you are forced to run and the personelle that is in the game when it is run. My hb in the HB slot is our elusive back. An ideal situation you would want your pHB if you are going to run up the gut like that. That play has a very low success rate regardless of the hb....
Would it be so hard for GLB to add an input/output option in the AI (below the OT) so you could pick your own custom play? If it was left blank it would run that GL run.
Of course this and a couple other blunders at the end of the game is all in hindsight which will make us better down the road.
It was a great game and like both voegma and said in the team forum, Broccoli called a fantastic game and we tip our hats to you.
Congrads and see you next season.

Looks like a lot of resets or failed teams. If we are lucky, a lot of the dots will end up on some of those Competitive League teams and boost their competition level.
