6-10 Reg Pro Elite record while admittedly dismal on paper trumps anything outside Elite imo

I think you need to consider the competition tho. Regional Pro Elite had far better competition, top to bottom than the Competitive leagues. There were some good teams at the top of the Competitive leagues, but almost any human team could get 8 wins in a Comp league, while getting 6 wins in an Elite league is harder.

How can I sit by and not be upset that this team was promoted solely on record, when a closer look would negate ANY consideration: http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5316 We would already be in Pro and not rven discussing this if my team had sucked more in Semi Pro and avoided Elite lol

So why even have a promotion system if little crybaby ass girls who won 6 reg pro games can just pm support and get promoted?

because they can compete better than the CPU filled teams. I think this is what the thread is all about. Its about competition and how people dont really want to go around playing gutted and CPU filled teams.

http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=5670 how is this team even in pro? all level 68, gutted and resigned which is technically against the rules isnt it? they skirted the system and will be playing in pro at level 73 most of the season.

you can look at it however you want to. Whether teams like the linked team gut and resign or soemone requests its, that team, only by ID# is not the team that earned their way to pro.

They were in the same league as KoB's team, some regional pro league, lost in the first round of the playoffs and is in pro, they swapped with someone somewhere... KOB's team wound up in RPE#1. its selective and it shouldnt be. Who approved that houston vikings promotion of a level 68 team vs a team that will be full 79? you cant tell me that the 68s will be more competitive than a 6 win level 79 team that clearly cares.

its funny seeing you post this kinda stuff, when someone who "didnt deserve to be in pro" had to go up for you to go back down because you were scared to play in the pros

FWIW, for those that still think that my motives are selfish, yes, my messages to support were requesting that my team be promoted, but also included comments supporting promotion of anyone that would make Pro more competitive if not my team. That being said the promotion system is in need of an overhaul and it would start with league structure.
