I wouldn't put much stock in that considering we aren't complete as a roster and the depth chart isn't set yet.

I say this every season, usually to my overlevelled team mates, but this time as the level 79 team.... there really isnt much difference at this point.

I mean, there is some, obviously, but it is overcome-able.

scrolling through your predictions I really expected to see a Mentone vs Indy rematch at the bottom.. still hoping it happens.

The big difference between the level 68s and level 79s will be the extra SP for SAs. The 56 SPs that you get from boosting from 73 to 79 are a pretty big difference.

Most of the gap will be breached when level 72 equipment and the last CEQ upgrade become available. The season of training isn't going to be that big and the VAs are mostly already assigned to the best options. The BTs to finish AEQ are about the only thing you will gain over the course of this season.

Boost to 71 = 18 SPs.
Level to 73 = 10 SPs.

Compared to the SP increase next season:

Boost to 79 = 36 SPs
Boost bonus SPs = 20 SPs

ALGs at this level aren't that much. From an EL standpoint, the ALGs over the cap are a huge deal, but from a pure SP total standpoint, it isn't.

Example:

Boosted from 73 to 76 on a QB:

Level 73 SP Value = 1467.16
Level 76 SP Value = 1548

Actual SP gained = 38
ALG SP Value Gains = 1548 - 1467.16 - 38 = 42.84
Actual ALGs = 4.2

So even though the ALGs only granted a small increase, they lead to a significant gain in SP Value because of ALGs over the caps.

Most of that gain comes from throwing being increased by 0.84, strength being increased by 0.84, and vision being increased by 0.84.
Speed, stamina, and confidence were each increased by 0.56, but they were at lower caps.
As a result, the gain of 4.2 SPs through ALGs led to an increase in SP Value of ten times that, 42.84.

Now it comes down to the difference between EL/SP Value and actual effective builds. I would venture that the 38 SPs that I added into confidence and SAs resulted in a much larger increase in the effectiveness in my QB than the 4.2 points increased through ALGs; however, despite this, the 4.2 points in ALGs will have a much larger effect on the SP Value of the build.

My OC/DC has some family health issues they're dealing with so not sure if he'll be doing it this season for us or not. If not, I'll just be clicking on past AIs and praying for the best! lol
