Vancouver Gorillas welcoming everyone to this edition of RP Elite. Should be fun as we have a mixed bag of good semi-pro teams coming up with the inevitable first year roster hump to get over and some quality Regiona Pro vet teams looking for that big push to Casual Pro.

Glad to be aboard!

There has been some discussion as to the inadequacy of the promtion process for the causal leagues. bascialy the lower 2 teams from each pro conference are replaced by the conferenc winnes in elite 1 and 2.

The formula tha works for regular is not working for casual , look at the numbers.
There are 5 regular pro leagues (including the world which is mostly regular) 20 turnover for 7 semi-pro leagues = 224 teams, 20/224 teams = 10% turnover

there is 1 casual pro = 4 teams to serve 4 leagues = 128 teams 4/128 = 3% turnover. It is 3 x harder to get a promotion in th casual with this setup

I have started a thread in suggestions as per bort, that is necessary to make any changes. we need other owners and team memebers to contribute to make it look like it is of concern to more than 2 people,

It's Saturday and before I start running some errands I figured get half the league's early season rankings up. Great news, only five teams have no dots on them (or human dots) so it already looks like a 10 team race for the eight playoff spots. A couple teams are ranked a little lower than I expected and that's due right now to not having a full roster. A few teams are close but until filled this is what I feel is a accurate ranking of Alpha:

1..American Horror Story - One of the favorites heading into the season having played well last season and having a nice roster in place this year.

2..Green Bay Maulers - Will have a little "bias" here but I like my team and when fully boosted should be able to compete with everyone.

3..Nevada Hillbillie's - Made a nice and unexpected run last season and once the team is boosted they should be a game for most.

4..Woerth Shamrocks - Nice team with most of the parts coming back. Have a few roster spots to fill out but the team should be good none the less.

5..White Lightning - Nice roster in play and coming off a nice season - will easily move up when roster is filled.

6..Off In The Shower - Went 15-1 last season and once the roster is filled they'll rise in the rankings.

7..Royal Oak Oaks - Were a solid 11-5 last season but to get back there and beyond will need to get some of the 10 outstanding roster spots filled.

8..Blatz Beer Barbarians - Always a solid team and just short on dots (47). Will be in the playoff hunt.

9..Show Me Your Tets - looks to be solid enough but only having 34 dots on the roster is like being asked "do you want a blind fold."

10.OffTopica Freemasons - Another team with not a filled out roster having 35 dots on board as of writing.

11.Warnerstock Animaniacs - Could be a nice team depending if they get their 12 roster spots filled out or not.

12.Dryden Blue Balls - No dots on the current roster. Expect a lot of 255-0 scores this season.

13.Medford Mallards - has only two CPU dots on the roster and that's not a good thing. Expect a lot of 255-0 scores this season.

14.Texas Tigers - No dots on the current roster. Expect a lot of 255-0 scores this season.

15.DS Factory - has only two CPU dots on the roster and that's not a good thing. Expect a lot of 255-0 scores this season.

16.Terror Lake Witnesses - No dots on the current roster. Expect a lot of 255-0 scores this season.

Good to see you, LT

I gave us a blocking FB instead of sending him to WL. It will be interesting to see the offense as we have never had a BFB.
