Right, but next season we will be in RP Elite and they will be in RP Comp. RP Elite playoff teams all get into Nat Pro. To get into Nat Pro from RP Comp, you need to do much better (win Conference for sure, possibly just getting to CCG will get you there).
Thus, next season we will be in better shape to make Nat Pro than they will be. Their best best is to get a team swap to a RP Comp or RP Normal league and do well enough to get promoted into RP Elite next season. It's not a big deal, but if you want to be in Nat Pro for your first season of plateau, being in RPE next season is your best bet.
